We met Michelle at one of those "wedding expos" you go to at the start of your wedding planning and immediately threw away the swag from all other photographers and knew we wanted her and only her to photograph our wedding.

Then I forgot to email her for several months, eventually did but forgot to respond, made my now-wife coordinate a meeting, went full-awkward at our 'let's see if we want to work together' drink, and eventually carried all that awkward through our engagement session and wedding photos- Michelle was nothing but patient, careful and affirming through all of it. Not only did she take drop-dead gorgeous photos of us and our people (we did our first look and portraits at Garfield Park Conservatory when it was 110 degrees with the heat index), she did it all with a smile on her face, the utmost care for our comfort-level and body hang-ups and just overall being a Good Human.

I happen to be queer, but my very straight, very BRO brother/best person said "I just love her, I want to carry her around in my pocket!" Hire Michelle if you've ever had any negative feelings about getting your photo taken, if you have any awkward body feelings, if you might need affirmations on your wedding day, if anyone's ever needed to tell you to take a deep breath, if you want beautiful authentic photos, if you want a teammate-coach-best friend helping you and your loved ones look your best for some important even in your life. Michelle is going to take care of you and make you look awesome.

Spark & Glow are phenomenal and I could just shout it off rooftops how fabulous they are! We were blown away by how wonderful Michelle and Danielle were to work with, and how absolutely gorgeous our photos turned out.

From the beginning, Michelle listened to what we were looking for in our photos and helped us create a timeline for the day. She was professional, personable, and right away we knew they'd be the right choice.

My husband and I don't take a lot of pictures and were worried we'd seem awkward, but Michelle and Danielle helped us (and our bridal party) feel comfortable, laugh hysterically, and took incredible photos that perfectly capture all of our personalities.

Michelle even scouted out locations near our venue we could take beautiful outdoor pictures- and then back up plans when the day before forecast called for thunderstorms!

Even before the wedding was over, our guests were raving about how kind, professional, and unobtrusive our photographers were! We got all the important pictures of the big moments, but my favorites are the candid shots where they captured all the love that was present that special day.

I cannot recommend Spark & Glow enough!

Michelle was amazing to work with - she made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the photo sessions. She was warm and made us laugh, which led to some incredible photos. She truly captured our relationship and the dynamic between us, and our story. We absolutely plan on using Michelle again for future events - like maybe a baby shoot in the future! :) Michelle is 100% queer and trans friendly, and our guests raved about how kind she was to all of them.
