Sova Gardens is a hidden gem in Sebastopol. We worked with Denise to book our wedding there and it was the easiest thing ever! The venue and farmhouse are so charming and the layout is perfect. The farmhouse is an absolute must-have for the wedding day, it makes getting ready so easy and comfortable, especially for the bridal party! The redwoods in the center of the venue are the star of the show and made for a breathtaking backdrop to our ceremony. The covered dance floor area was perfect for us to party all night long and there was plenty of space for us to have lawn games and even a bounce house! Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the venue and all the accommodations; we'd definitely get married here every weekend if we could!

I have only wonderful things to say about Sova Gardens. After a lengthy search for a wine country venue within our budget, we finally landed on Sova Gardens and instantly felt comfortable with Denise and Paul who were incredibly easy to work with. Our initial walk through with Paul was easy, relaxed, and informative. Sova Gardens is run by genuinely good people who are here to help you celebrate life's biggest moments and make sure that all of your guests have a great time. I remember visiting other venues and feeling like just a number, where they shuffle you in and out among other weddings that weekend like a wedding factory. Not at Sova Gardens. You have the whole weekend to yourself. Not to mention the grounds are stunning. You're surrounded by flowers, a small cluster of towering redwood trees, and modern farmhouse/farmhouse chic vibes. There are ample photography shots with blooming flowers, expansive grassy fields, rustic farm structures, etc. There was also a great house on the property that you can rent for the weekend which is great for bridal parties/family. Denise and Paul are so easy to work with when it comes to working with vendors and arranging walk throughs. When we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, they were incredibly understanding and allowed us to change our date with no penalties. As a stressed-out bride, I can't tell you how much of a relief it was to work with them. Unfortunately, we ended up having to cancel our wedding completely, but again, Denise and Paul were incredibly understanding and empathetic. I have heard horror stories from other brides who had to cancel/postpone their weddings and suffered at the hands of the venue, which was not the case at all at Sova Gardens. If you are considering booking with Sova Gardens, don't hesitate! I recommend them fully.

My husband and I got married a couple weeks ago after falling in love with Sova Gardens in June of last year. From the start, Sova’s owners Denise and Paul and their staff were incredible to work with . The venue is so so so gorgeous and exactly what we wanted—but knowing it is owned and managed by such amazing people just made it that much better. Paul is so talented and we rented just about all of his hand made pieces for our big day. We also rented out the farmhouse for the weekend which was a must for us. I will forever be grateful my husband and I found the magical Sova Gardens.

Sova Gardens is a hidden gem off of the road. The owners are so nice and personable. Very easy and flexible to work with! The venue itself is what I had always imagined my wedding to be. It is the perfect Sonoma County spot. Flowers blooming everywhere you look, a bright yellow farmhouse, a cool antique bar in a historic chicken coop, and some gorgeous redwood trees to tie the knot under. The layout is open and inviting and the owners have beautiful handmade furniture and bar tops that you can rent for your big day. Overall, it was an amazing location and Denise & Paul are wonderful to work with!

Denise & Paul are a dream to work with. They are friendly, accommodating, kind, open, flexible and all the good words one can think of. We worked with them for the year leading up to our wedding and we have only good things to say. On the day of the event, even though it was wildly hot, Paul was positive, kind and had a smile on his face while he made sure things were all going smoothly with the venue in the background. We had some unique requests for our wedding, and Denise and Paul worked with us on each item to make the wedding Super special. Also we LOVED staying in the house on site. I would highly recommend it - super convenient to have everything there on site!!

Sova Gardens was the most perfect venue. From the gorgeous landscaping to the awesome tin roof dance floor, our wedding was so incredibly wonderful because we picked such an awesome venue. Thank you to Paul and Denise for being so helpful and accommodating during the planning process!

I cannot say enough good things about Sova Gardens. We used this venue for our wedding last month (9/16/17) and it was just stunning. Seriously, flowers were blooming everywhere. Paul and Denise have done so much to make this a beautiful place while also keeping in mind the needs of wedding guests and vendors. Our vendors all raved about how easy it was for them to work there -- some even gave us discounts when we booked with them and they found out our venue was Sova. And our guests had only compliments.

On top of the place being beautiful, they were so responsive to every email and question we had along the planning process. Denise never took longer than a couple days to respond to our questions, and usually responded the same day. Weddings are stressful enough without booking vendors that keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for answers. Seriously, this was one of the things we booked that we had the least stress with.

I was so very pleased to have my wedding ceremony at Sova Gardens in Sebastopol, CA. We stumbled upon this place out of pure luck! We live in the area and had read about this place online unknowingly to us we pass this place all the time and had no idea it was of this magnificence. Its tucked away in the heart of not just wine country, but farming country as well. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with turf grass, a garden, country background, and rustic style. We barely had to use any decor because of the natural beauty of the surroundings and the decor already put in place. The owners are the most amazing accessory to this place. They work with you to make sure your day is perfect and are always keeping in touch through out this process. They also were very quick to respond, in detail, any questions I had. They have vendors that are just amazing if you plan on using them. Tables, chairs, and umbrellas are a great plus they offer with the venue!!! Final amazing feature the beautiful 3 bedroom house with bridal room you can rent for the weekend! I truly cant imagine having my wedding at any other venue! Amazing!!

Sova Gardens is an incredible venue!!! It is so beautiful, and well taken care of. Before I found Sova, I had looked at some other outdoor venues whose grounds were in poor condition which made me worry, then I saw Sova Gardens and was immediately sold. The value is well worth what we spent. The owners were so nice and friendly, Denise answered many questions for me and always returned my calls or emails promptly.

Paul and Denise run Sova Gardens and they were just fabulous! They were so helpful and answered all of my many emails and phone calls promptly. They were so nice and made me feel like I was in good hands with nothing to worry about! The location is beautiful and doesn't need much added to it it naturally is decorated with flowers and has a rustic feel to it and is overlooking wineries. I would highly recommend this location for a ceremony and reception!
