Saved our Wedding!
We reached out to Dana & SK about 7 weeks prior to our wedding because we had to fire our original wedding planner. It was a very stressful time and he left us so behind schedule. We were at a point where we weren't even looking forward to our wedding. Dana immediately setup a call and got us back on track. SK was INCREDIBLE for our rehearsal and day-of. It ended up being a perfect day, we didn't have to speak to any vendors. The timeline was precise and well communicated with buffer between activities. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and joyful. We got compliments from our bridal party about how this was the smoothest wedding they've ever been a part of. It was a lesbian wedding, so our party was all girls! Keeping everyone on track is twice as hard, but SK really shined! We would recommend her to our closest loved ones, she was incredible! They literally saved our wedding!

Absolute must hire
Kelsea is a literal godsend. I hired her as my day of/month of planner and she was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I cannot recommend her enough. Unbelievably reasonable prices and unmatched service and expertise. You’d be crazy not to hire these ladies.

Dana with Southern Styled Events was truly a wonderful wedding planner! Dana is organized, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about the wedding community in Birmingham. She was present for our small ceremony in March 2020 with only our parents there, and she was happy for us like it was the actual day we planned for! Her excitement was so appreciated during such uncertain times. And then she stuck with us through the highs and lows of rescheduling our reception MULTIPLE times during the pandemic. And then she celebrated us again and again and was present during our day not just as our wedding planner, but as our friend. She is very easy to communicate with, she answers emails and texts quickly, and she is very organized - everything you would hope for in a wedding planner.

Could not have done it without her!
Dana was the absolute biggest blessing during the whole wedding process- we could not have done it without her! She is very organized, efficient, and very helpful. She is creative and very talented. She helped me put my vision into reality! She is the sweetest- she has a calming presence that makes you feel loved and at peace among all the stress wedding things can bring. She really made the whole wedding planning season fun, and a whole lot easier! This allowed me and my family to enjoy the process! I could not recommend her or her team any more. We love you, Dana!

Amazing!!!
Dana stepped in about halfway through our planning and she was a lifesaver! She was there to help us pull all of our decisions together though we made several changes. We only wish we had called her at the beginning of our planning process!

Choosing Southern Styled Events to help plan my wedding was bar far one of the best decisions I made. Kelsea was amazing!! We booked the month of planning package and she was there for the final walk through, made our wedding day timeline, and answered any questions/concerns I had throughout my engagement. Everyone in our wedding party and at the wedding raved about how organized she was and how well the whole day flowed. She helped fix any problems before my family members or myself found out so we didn't have to worry about a thing. And one of the things she did that I appreciated most was she prayed with me before my ceremony. I was full of nerves and she asked me if I wanted her to pray with me. She prayed to calm my nerves and for me and my future husband and our new life together. She is the sweetest soul and I will never be able to thank her or recommend her enough.

Dana was absolutely amazing!! We only booked for a Day of Coordinator, but they go above and beyond just the day of responsibilities. We met multiple times before the big day and she emailed frequently to make sure I was on track with planning. She took all of the stress out of the wedding day and I truly was able to just soak in and enjoy the day! I will recommend Southern Styled Events to everyone I know!!

Planning a wedding rehearsal dinner from across the country had it's many challenges, until I found Kelsea at Southern Styled Events. Kelsea was my angel! She is creative, detail oriented, personable and reliable! She put her heart and soul into every detail and I absolutely think she is brilliant!!
