We used Southern Palate to cater our wedding and the food was delicious! Our guests also loved the food. James and Denise are very friendly and had good communication with us. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Denise and her husband at Southern Palate for our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests raved about it afterwards. The spinach and artichoke dip I could eat a whole bowl of! It was really important to us that the food be memorable, and they truly delivered.
Beyond the food, Denise was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she helped calm my nerves and made everything feel manageable.
We also appreciated how flexible and budget-friendly they were. They offer a wide range of options, whether you're looking for a plated meal or a buffet-style setup, which made it easy to find something that fit our vision.
The best part was we were sent home with a bag of food from our cocktail hour that we missed while taking pictures AND an additional meal from our reception.

Southern Palate Catering provided incredible food and excellent service for our son and daughter-in-love’s recent wedding reception. Planning was easy with Chef Denise and her team provided exceptional service on a rainy wedding day that required flexibility and efficiency. And the food was hot and delicious! China, flatware, and glasses are also available for a modest rental fee.

I cannot say enough good things about Southern Palate. From the start Chef Denise was amazing. The walk through at the tasting was informative and tasty. Once contracted, they had great communication and were accommodating to all my needs. On our wedding, Denise and her team made cocktail hour and reception dinner seamless. Her staff was super professional and sweet. We did a buffet; when it was time to eat, before everyone got dismissed, they made my husband and I a beautiful plate. They personally waited on myself and my husband to let us relax during our meal among the chaotic timeline of the wedding. Thier attention to our needs made us feel like the star of the show. They did all of this while keeping the guest tables clean and presentable. All of their food was amazing. However, the spinach dip and the steak diane were the stars of the show. My husband went back for thirds. In conclusion, their dedication to overall quality and professionalism makes them our number one choice for future events!

Chef Denise is a must. You can’t imagine having a nicer, more understanding vendor. She and James served my husband and I, making sure we got to eat our food and taste everything. It meant so much to us that they served our friends and family with care but also understood that it was OUR big day.
Their appetizers are out of this world! I highly recommend adding them. They were my favorite part of the food.
