I can't even express in a review how helpful Collin was. We could not have had the wedding we wanted without him. From the day we booked him as our DJ he was integral to the planning process--his questionnaire sheet asking us what we were looking for was extremely comprehensive, which helped us nail down a lot of details we wouldn't have otherwise thought about. We had monthly check-in meetings (Collin's idea) to make sure everything was on track, get an update from him, and talk about what we still needed. When we booked him, we had only expected to be hiring our DJ, but every time there was something we still needed, Collin did it. Emcee? Collin. Lighting? Collin. Officiating? Collin. Photo Booth? Collin. He was basically the wedding planner. He kept us on schedule through the reception, he put up fans for us at the head table when we were dying of heat after pictures. He even boxed up the leftover cake at the end of the night. My mom and her friends all had a crush on him, they honestly can't stop raving about how great he was. We would get married again sometime just to hire Collin again, he is 100/10 stars.
In terms of his DJ skills, we were heavily involved in music decisions to the point of micromanaging it a little, but he worked with us to give us everything we wanted and nicely tell us that it is OK to relax and trust that he is an expert. And he was right, everybody loved the music he picked and it was heavily influenced by our tastes. He worked with me through trialing 4 different songs for the processional, even custom-mixing some examples, and at the rehearsal he and his assistant Antonio (who was also amazing, shout out to Antonio!) made sure the cues and timing were absolutely perfect. Any time I wanted to change something they could not have been nicer or more helpful. We could tell they truly wanted everything to be perfect. From start to finish they were so nice, patient, talented, and passionate about what they do. I could not recommend him strongly enough to anybody planning a wedding or other event.

If I could give Carl and Sound Love Audio more than 5 stars, I would!

Just days before our wedding on May 16th, our original DJ unexpectedly canceled. We were stressed, disappointed, and worried about how we were going to pull everything together at the last minute. Then Carl stepped in and completely saved the day.

From our very first conversation, Carl was professional, organized, and genuinely cared about making our wedding exactly what we envisioned. He took the time to listen to what we wanted, asked thoughtful questions whenever he needed clarification, and made sure every detail was covered.

On the wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The music flowed seamlessly throughout the ceremony and reception, announcements were clear and professional, and he did an incredible job reading the room and keeping the energy going all night long. Our dance floor stayed busy, our guests had an amazing time, and so many people commented on how great the DJ was.

What could have been a stressful last-minute disaster turned into one of the best parts of our wedding thanks to Carl. He didn't just provide music—he helped create memories that my husband and I will cherish forever.

Collin is the ultimate choice to make your day run smoothly! His love for his job is contagious and he will do anything to make it the perfect day for you! We had multiple phone calls and texts with him, which were so appreciated to reassure us and make sure everyone was on the same page and I can't thank him enough for taking the time and going the extra mile. We also had a fabulous bridal party grand march that he absolutely nailed with his emcee announcement skills! You won't regret booking Collin for any of your wedding needs!

Collin was our Dj, Officiant, and Wedding Coordinator - a herculean task that required more than just extra planning and preparation. Between all of our photos, our family situations, the days leading up to the event, and everything else throughout the day of, Collin did more than just take care of it, he handled each challenge with grace. I could not recommend a more patient, understanding, and observant person. His assistant, Carl, was also very keen and helpful on the day of our event. He handled the dance floor with an amazing blend of our music and some pretty on-time hits that got everyone moving and enjoying the moment. Overall, Sara and I are glad we chose SoundLoveAudio. Collin and Kelsie were amazing outstanding!!! The dance floor was never empty the music was unstoppable! Collin was amazing with all the request coming in and the kids wanting to play games! Collin joined us on the dance floor!! Kelsie was great with the kids and having fun with the Photo Booth! Hands down would recommend this amazing team for anyone!

Collin made the entire planning process seamless. He utilizes an app that allows to you to customize your day and really detail what you are looking for.

Collin was great at communicating and checking in before our big day. On our wedding day, Collin did an amazing job emceeing and sticking to/helping coordinate our timeline. We also did our photo booth through Sound Love which went great and guests loved. When it came to dancing, we told Collin that we wanted a party and a packed dance floor and he certainly delivered! He did an amazing job with song selections and played exactly what we wanted. The transitions between songs were great and our dance floor was packed all night long. We had the best time and all of our guests after our wedding have told us how great the music was and how amazing of a job Collin did. Everything was absolutely great and we would highly highly recommend Collin. You need to book him as your DJ!!

Our experience with Collin could not have been better. He was very professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process. He has a great system for playlist selection and no-plays, even accommodated some last minute changes. Collin nailed it on the big day, keeping the dance floor full. His MC’ing and coordinating also kept the night flowing smoothly. We couldn’t recommend enough.

Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers, even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic.
He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control.
On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception, and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup.
Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night… cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it.
The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception.
What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long.
Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. We are endlessly grateful we chose him and will always recommended Sound Love to EVERY couple looking for a DJ who genuinely cares, listens, and delivers beyond expectations.
