The best makeup artist!
I am an actress and I first met Sonja as a makeup artist for a commercial that we were both working on. I have worked with several makeup artists throughout my career, but within a matter of minutes I knew Sonja was superior. By lunchtime of that work day, I knew I wanted Sonja to do my makeup on my upcoming wedding day. We just clicked and she is such a skilled makeup artist. I booked her shortly after!
Fast forward to my wedding day, and Sonja exceeded all expectations. Sonja and her assistant, Christina, arrived at the venue early and were ready to start makeup a half hour early. We had a total of nine different women that got their makeup done and Sonja managed to keep our makeup schedule ahead of time. Everyone's makeup looked AMAZING. My entire bridal party raved about both Sonja and Christina.
I LOVED my makeup for the wedding day and would recommend Sonja a million times over! Do not hesitate to hire her for your wedding! She will not disappoint!

Sonja is fantastic!!!
I reached out to Sonja very last minute to see if she could help me with makeup for my elopement. COVID had disrupted our original wedding plans, and we decided with little notice to elope at the end of the month. Not only did Sonja respond right away with her availability and rates, she was immediately open to hearing what I was envisioning (despite the chaos and last minute nature!), allowed me to add my mom later on, and my sister day of as our plans evolved. Two days before our wedding it was supposed to thunderstorm, and due to COVID, we had to have our ceremony outside so we decided to move everything back by one day. Sonja got back to me immediately when I asked her about this, and was wonderfully agreeable!! I wasn't even able to confirm the start time until the night before and she was able to make it, arrived early, added my sister on last minute and was just a delight to work with! She was also incredibly safe and very well prepared to handle COVID safety measures. Oh, and the makeup was BEAUTIFUL! Could not recommend Sonja enough. She was absolutely fantastic in every way!

Sonja went above and beyond for our wedding! Even from the practice run a few months before the wedding, I knew we had made the right decision to go with her. When it came to the day of, Sonja remembered everything we had discussed about my look. Sonja and Melissa arrived early, knew exactly where to set up for the proper lighting, and worked professionally with our hair stylists. My bride squad and I felt so comfortable with Sonja, and we all looked fabulous and felt confident for the wedding, photos, and reception. Her positivity is contagious and she is incredibly talented at makeup. Plus, I'm obsessed with the lipstick she recommended for me -- I want to use it for all my special events! Sonja really is SO good at what she does.

Sonja is amazing and she gave me exactly what I wanted for my wedding day this past September. I wanted a very natural, dewey look with a bit of drama, and that is exactly what I received! Sonja listened to my wishes and performed accordingly, giving me guidance where I was unsure. I was already convinced when I saw the photos on her website, but booking the trial with her confirmed my decision; not only was she very thorough, professional and informative about everything she was doing, but we had a great time! I felt like we became friends instantly. She's super friendly, relatable, hilarious and makes you feel like the most gorgeous person ever :) Her impressive resume and diverse range of experiences also ensured me that I was in great hands.

Sonja was an absolute joy to work with. We met her years ago and always stayed in contact, I was so excited when she was available to do the make-up for all of the girls for our wedding (5 of us). She is the absolute best and is so talented, a true artist! We all agreed that we felt like ourselves, just the best possible version. Will be hiring Sonja anytime we need our make-up done, from weddings to events and even for a special date night. We cannot recommend her highly enough to everyone! Thanks Sonja!

We booked our wedding in two months and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a makeup artist in such a short time but Sonja replied so quickly and even came out to my house to do a trial that same week! On the day of our wedding, she was punctual, friendly, and made the whole process fun and easy. I highly recommend Sonja, our makeup came out beautifully!
