When we started looking for venues, we came across the Solomon Fowler Mansion. We immediately got in contact to take a tour. It was still under construction the first time we saw it and even then, we just knew it was the place for us. We booked our date that day. We came back over a year later to see the finished product and make final arrangements for our reception. To say this venue is beautiful is an understatement. The house, the barn, the carriage house, everything.. was perfectly designed and decorated. One of our favorite things about this venue is the house. We got to stay in the house all weekend. There was no stress of having to get to the venue on time in the morning or having to be set up at a certain time. Getting ready with my bridal party in the master suite was amazing. The house is so beautifully laid out that we all could gather and get ready together. With the house having 5 bedrooms, we also got to let the bridal party stay at the house with us for the weekend. It was so fun! When the reception was over, no one had to leave and we all got to have our private continued celebration together - that was special!

We were allowed to use all our own vendors, which is another thing we loved! We didn't have to choose a certain caterer or rental company. We were given the freedom to choose exactly what WE wanted and not what the venue wanted us to use.

The staff was a DREAM. Allison was very easy going and great to work with. I knew exactly what I wanted my big day to look like and Allison said 'okay!' to all my ideas and made it happen. They had staff that helped set up and break everything down. It rained all morning of our reception and every single one of them was out in the rain setting up tables in chairs so I didn't have to.

I would 1000% recommend Solomon Fowler Mansion to anyone looking for a venue. It was the best weekend of my life! I would love to do it all over again just for another chance to be at this venue.

Our wedding reception was held in the barn at the venue and my family rented the house for the weekend. It was such a fun weekend and exceeded all of our expectations! The communication was great and all rules and procedures explained before hand. The hospitality made this reception and stay so much more enjoyable.

My entire family including myself and husband talk all the time about renting out the mansion again because we had such an incredible time. I would truly recommend this venue to anyone who’s wanting an easy and stress-free wedding planning experience!

Allison was a great representation of what professionalism looks like. She allowed setup the day before which relieved so much stress. She allowed clean up the next day as well. Which was awesome since you are extremely tired after your event.
