While planning our wedding, we ran into several issues with caterers not responding or not being able to provide the services we needed. We eventually found Social Catering. At first, I was a bit hesitant to use them because we were looking for basic American bar food for our wedding, and everything on their menu is so much more elegant, sophisticated, and meticulously crafted. After reaching out and explaining what we wanted, they helped design a menu perfect for our comfort food needs. They were a delight to work with, and all of my guests complimented how delicious everything was.

From the initial consultation with Kristen to the last guest of the night Social Catering was phenomenal! Our food and service were amazing. They made the most wonderful duck confit tostadas that I have ever had! Thank you Social Catering!!

Everyone raved about the food! Everything was cooked and made perfectly! We also used their bartending services and everyone provided wonderful customer service. We are so happy we went with them for our catering needs. The bourbon chicken was outstanding!

Kudos to you, Nick, and the team for everything that was done for Jenna and Jared’s wedding at Goodwood Museum and Gardens in Tallahassee this past weekend. The rehearsal dinner setup was stunning and food amazing. The breakfast, lunch and service for the wedding party was great. We can not say enough about the reception! So many compliments on the food and service. Our family members did not want for anything. Nick was always right there to handle everything we needed, he was truly amazing! Staff members and bar tenders were hard at work getting things done. We all know it’s the work behind the scenes that goes unnoticed that truly makes the difference. We chose Social Catering after tasting some of their appetizers at a wedding show. Ashley Chaney was such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and accommodating to all of our requests. The food was amazing and our guests were commenting all night about how great the food was. The staff that was at our venue serving our plated dinner were top notch. Would recommend Social Catering for any event!

Isabel with Social Catering was AMAZING along with the rest of the Social Catering staff and our event manager Nick. Isabel and the team went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special and perfect. She was flexible and we were able to have meetings over facetime since I live outside of Tallahassee. She and the rest of Social Catering made my wedding dreams come true. Nick was the event manager for our wedding and was so attentive to our needs from making our dinner plates, providing us with our drinks, bringing food to our grandparents and parents and making sure that the night ran as smoothly as possible. I would recommend Social Catering to anyone having their wedding in the Tallahassee area and would also recommend the Capital City Country Club venue which Social Catering uses as one of their many event spaces in addition to the Gathering. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would hire them and have my wedding at the same location all over again for any event.

HIRE THEM. I was blown away by the service and delivery of Social Catering and Events. My wedding was at their venue, The Gathering, and people raved about the food. They have a huge menu to choose from when you're planning which is a blessing (and a curse since we wanted it all). The passed Shrimp & Grits appetizer was a crowd-pleaser, everyone loved the mushroom ravioli (I haven't stopped thinking about it), and the assorted desserts served had something that everyone loved. We also did a late-night pizza which everyone was so excited about. Their service was phenomenal. They made sure my champagne glass was never empty and all of my guests were always satisfied. If any issues came up they made sure they were taken care of ASAP and in a professional manner. We also had an hourly bar (beer & wine) that had something for everyone, even craft beer lovers. I would choose them again and again for any catering needs.

We hired Social Catering for our Daughters wedding and rehearsal dinner this past weekend. They did such an amazing job not only with the great tasting food but with the service both at rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Their presentation of the food was amazing, nothing but wonderful comments from the guests. I would definitely recommend Social Catering for any event.

I booked my wedding with The Gathering a full 2 years in advance, and EVERY single person I interacted with through this entire process was a dream. I could NOT have chosen a better company and team. I'm so grateful. The process of booking, the food selection, the last minute accomodations because it was a rainy weekend--even putting me in touch with excellent locations for my events both the day before and after--everyone went above and beyond for us. And our actual wedding itself was a total success. The space is beautiful and everyone is still ranting to me about how delicious the food was (and how short the line for the bar was), but what really stood out to me was, again, the team. How many stories have you heard about the bride and groom never getting a chance to eat? That wasn't us--and that's entirely because of the thoughtfulness of the staff. They brought us appetizers during our cocktail hour while we were getting photos; and they had dinner plates at our seats so quickly it was crazy. We actually had a whole meal, and I've literally never met another couple that can say that. And that is just one example. After the wedding, I've had so many people come up to me just to say how attentive the staff was with keeping everyone happy with their food and drinks throughout the night, and really contributing to the fun of the space. We had a pretty non-traditional wedding and reception, but no one hiccuped one bit with all the things we did differently than normal. Everyone that worked our event absolutely ROCKED it and I honestly hope they were able to enjoy themselves, too. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I love Social Catering and Events. My husband and I were looking for a company to cater our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding reception. We were planning a destination wedding in Tallahassee as we live in Connecticut. Social Catering met all our needs. We rented their event space, The Gathering, for our rehearsal dinner. The Gathering offers an amazing view of Doak Campbell Stadium from inside the room and it offers an outdoor patio as well. Social Catering even helped us arrange pre-paid parking for our guests in the nearby parking garage. The rehearsal dinner was a hybrid of a buffet and stations. The reception dinner was a full buffet. Katie and Amanda helped us create a customized menu for both nights and our guests raved about the food. Kristen was our day-of contact for the rehearsal dinner and the reception. If there were any problems, Kristen handled them before I was even aware. Nick was a god-send to make sure my husband and I had drinks and food while we were busy greeting guests and taking photos. Not only was the food delicious, it was beautifully presented by a gracious and attentive staff.
