So sweet is the BEST! They are friendly kind and brought our wedding cake vision to life! All our guests LOVED our cake! They even made a tiramisu filling as we LOVE tiramisu! It was the absolute perfect yummiest cake ever! You will not go wrong with them!

I won our wedding cake, and also purchased extra sheet cake. Delicious, beautiful, and elegant. Aalaa was very friendly and easy to work with. They also have delicious baklava.

Upon booking So Sweet my husband and I had high hopes about our wedding cake. We had their cake and macaroons before and they were delicious and we had seen their work and everything looked great. The day of our wedding our original cake was destroyed in a car accident miles away from our venue. So Sweet told our venue the original cake was destroyed and we found out from the venue. We weren’t given any options about how we would like to handle the situation. They decided on their own, without our opinion to make a replacement and deliver it late. Had we had a choice we would have opted for a smaller cake and sheet cake or a refund. We understand the accident was out of their control but they could have handle the situation better. While we hoped everyone involved was okay, we were assured a replacement cake would be there as soon as possible. We had asked for a 4-tier White Alaska semi-naked cake with 3 tiers covered in gold drip and 1-tier with gold “sequins”. Then each tier would have fruit and flowers. The top tier would have a topper, flowers and a few chocolate pieces.The cake was finally set up a half hour after the reception started. Unfortunately it was a complete mess. The gold drip was more of a yellow and didn’t cover the entire tier it was only on the edge, the cake was tilted to one side and sinking in the middle, the flowers were just tossed on and the fruit was only on bottom of the cake. The “sequin” tier had bare spots and that’s just the appearance. Many of our guest complained of it being dry and hadn’t realized it was supposed to have strawberries in it. I was so upset when I first saw it I cried and as soon as it was cut I had it taken out of the room because I couldn’t look it. Now after the wedding we went to their place of business and discussed very calmly that we were unhappy with our cake and we understood the circumstances but we still paid a great deal of money and didn’t receive what we paid for. The chef was rude when he spoke to us and defended the cake and told us the cake couldn’t possibly be dry as it was made the same day. Now we didn’t ask for a refund we just wanted just an apology for not getting what we paid for. We never received an apology.
