We cannot say enough great things about Stephanie! She was so helpful through our entire planning process on making our day exactly how we needed it to be. She did an amazing job keeping us on schedule and making sure that everything stayed according to plan. She is so fun and just a great person to work with. She also worked with our videographer so perfectly. We booked both engagement photos and our wedding day with her and we had so much fun taking photos! All of the photos we got back are amazing quality and capture the entire day so perfectly. We are having such a hard time picking our favorites due to how good every photo is!! We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Stephanie was recommended to me by a friend and she shot my engagement photos in October '23 and wedding in September '24. Now having looked through my wedding album dozens of times, I feel confident to know she has a true gift for photography and have recommended to her anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

To start, I found her pricing was incredibly fair -- she wasn't the cheapest vendor we looked at but she also wasn't the most expensive. Based on what package you book, you'll find you get a lot of value based on what you pay for. We booked her and her second shooter for a full day with an engagement shoot as well and found that package to be perfect!

On that note, I highly recommend booking your engagement shoot through her as well. We were initially going to ditch doing engagement photos altogether but having the chance to meet with Stephanie and get comfortable with her shooting style definitely set us up for success on our wedding day.

She made us feel very comfortable and relaxed during our engagement shoot, even though having professional photos taken was not something we had ever done before. We wanted a natural, low key vibe and that's exactly what we got. She even let us do a second location for that shoot.

Stephanie (and second shooter Sara) worked seamlessly with our other vendors, especially our Day Of coordinator, and made sure her timeline matched with all the other plans that day. Even with some last minute changes day of, she was always calm yet enthusiastic which helped me stay in that same mindset.

When it came time to get more photos during dinner, she kept our priorities at the forefront of her shooting since we wanted to spend most of our time enjoying the party and with our guests. So she managed to get the most stunning portraits without taking us away from the reception for long periods of time.

Her turnaround time was spot on, too. We had a very extensive sneak peak album sent to us within a day or two, and then the full album was only 5 or 6 weeks. As expected, all of the photos she took turned out stunning and to relive the day through them is such an amazing gift. We loved them so much that we sent a link to the album to all of our guests which she was encouraging us to let them know they could download the photos too!

We loved our entire experience with Stephanie as she captured such amazing moments from the most special day of our lives that we get to admire for decades to come!

We're so glad we chose Stephanie as our photographer. She is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, organized, efficient and easy to get along with. We chose Stephanie because we loved her style and the natural and timeless look/editing to her photography. Stephanie did both our engagement and wedding photos. During both sessions, she made us feel totally at ease, which is impressive because my husband and I hate having our photo taken. Prior to the wedding, Stephanie asked for a list of photos we'd like, and she didn't miss a single shot. She was very efficient and we didn't have to spend very long taking group photos (something I was worried about!). I loved how Stephanie took so many photos of our guests at the wedding. She was able to capture so many happy memories that we will be able to treasure forever!

Stephanie is absolutely incredible. Pictures were one of the most important to things to me when planning our wedding. SMW was the absolute best choice we could have made. The pictures were turned around so quickly and are simply stunning. She really captured the most amazing moments. In addition to her talent Stephanie was so easy and comfortable to work with. I wanted to be her friend by the end of this process. She worked great with all of our other vendors and kept the whole day running on time and smoothly. I emailed and texted her all of the time, she never made me feel like I was being annoying (even though I'm sure I was!) and always got back to me very promptly.

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful to work with! Stephanie photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day. She gave clear directions and was flexible in capturing fun and different shots we wanted to try. I am in love with our sneak peak photos and cannot wait to see the rest! Her pricing was right in the middle of the dozen-or-so photographers we looked at.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Stephanie twice. She shot our “micro wedding” last year and just yesterday our postponed celebration. She is patient, professional, flexible, friendly, and laid back. If you don’t love the idea of being photographed, and are looking for someone you can be relaxed/comfortable around, Stephanie is your girl. Even if you love being photographed, she’s still your girl. We absolutely loved working with her and feel so lucky to have had her as part of our special days. One of my top concerns from our wedding day was getting a lot of great photos and stephanie went above and beyond! My husband and I are both very camera shy, but she made us both so comfortable. She got photos of absolutely everything from our day and they all look amazing.

We both have large, fractured family groups so getting all the group photos was a worry but she got everyone in and out so quickly and we still got so many great shots to share with everyone. I have gotten more compliments from guests about how amazing Stephanie was then anything else from our wedding. Everyone loved how sweet and involved she was while being so quick. I can not recommend her enough!!

My (now) husband and I chose Stephanie to be our wedding photographer a few months into our wedding planning venture, as we were browsing online. Her work was beautiful and drew us in. Let me begin by saying that we could NOT have made a better choice! We unfortunately didn't get to take engagement pictures with her due to us having them done by a good friend earlier in our engagement, but she was more than willing to adjust the package to reflect our needs. We finally met in person with her at her studio a couple months before the wedding to go over our timeline and our expectations (fun fact, she sent us a Christmas card before we had even met with her! How sweet is that?!). Her demeanor right off the bat was calm, professional, yet confident. She was very organized and made sure she had all the info she needed to photograph our special day. She was extremely reassuring with any concerns or questions we had, but mostly in an "I totally got this" kind of way! She offers a second photographer option, which we definitely wanted to utilize. At the meeting, she told us a bit about the 2nd photographer, Val, that she would be bringing and how it would all pan out. We left the meeting feeling very good about the choice we had made. It was so easy to communicate with her throughout the entire process, in every aspect.

When it came time for the actual big day, she showed up right on time and blended right in to the chaotic morning of "getting ready". I have heard some horror stories about some local Buffalo photographers having...less-than-ideal...attitudes on the day of, but Stephanie was SO friendly, chatted with all the girls, but took her work seriously and executed the job perfectly. On the groom's side of things, they said the same thing about the 2nd photographer, Val.

Throughout the entire day, they couldn't have been easier to work with or more accommodating. They stood out and walked in the cold with us, and had us laughing the whole time. Her shot ideas were amazing, and made for some of my favorite photos. I was recently looking through another photographer's album of a wedding that was done at the same place very shortly before ours, and even though I may be a bit biased, SMW Photography offered us much more variation. Being able to see that wedding comparison of the same exact location used by a different photographer REALLY showed us the education and talent that Stephanie has for setting up different shots and knowing what works.

We got our gallery back really fast, and I don't think I've stopped looking at them since! I was first blown away at the quality, and the emotion she captured. I wasn't quite sure what to expect out of the reception pictures, but they are PERFECT! SMW got so many good dancing shots, and really captured the joy of us and all our guests. She got some amazing ones of some individual couples dancing and just our guests having a good time, Which I absolutely LOVE in wedding galleries and was hoping would be including! The detail pictures are also amazing.

Overall, I am pleased to the highest extent with SMW Photography. She is down to Earth, professional, talented, and reasonable. I would 110% pick her again. The pictures of my husband and I on our wedding day is something that I will cherish for the rest of my days, and I'm so happy that we trusted SMW Photography to help us achieve the most perfect memories of our best day ever.

Stephanie and Sara were awesome!!!!! They literally got every shot I had asked for. It was super important for us to get pictures with our pup, and she made it possible. She took beautiful pictures of us and solo shots of our fur baby! They stayed at the reception much longer than expected as well. Guests complimented us on their work, as they took requests from family members to take family photos throughout the night. Stephanie is awesome, makes you feel comfortable, and even sent us a little care package before our wedding! Would highly recommend.
