Dawn was the perfect DJ for our wedding. She met with us and got a feeling of how we wanted our reception to go, and she created a perfect experience for us! She incorporated some games to keep the night fun, and worked with very little instruction from us throughout the night. She had a great selection of music, and all of our guests were happy to be up and dancing on the dance floor until the reception ended! We could not have asked for a better DJ to help us celebrate being married!

They were professional from start to finish. Dawn was so fun and easy to work with. They played all of the songs that we wanted and had just the right amount of enthusiasm for our entire wedding - NEVER in your face or over-the-top! You can tell they really care about you as a couple and what you want. Also, very reasonably priced, highly recommend!

We are so glad we decided to have Slammin' Jamz as our entertainment. The dance floor was packed all night -- no one wanted to sit down. They tailored the music to exactly what we wanted and had us in mind with everything they did. They were very accommodating and friendly. We met prior to the wedding twice to make sure everything was perfect. Super affordable and an overall amazing experience. Our DJ was a major part of our wedding and made it so fun!

Slammin Jamz is family business and all of them are friendly and easy to work with. They respond to emails quickly and for the clueless bride who's never been to a wedding before, help you out a lot when it comes to structuring the day. Although they generally did a great job, some things did fall through the cracks. My husband told me that the processional and recessional songs were initially not the ones we chose, and he had to make sure they were correct before the ceremony started. One of the processional songs still wasn't cued up at the right part, but no one else noticed so it ended up working out. Also, there was a few-days-before-the-wedding issue where they weren't able to access all the song requests we compiled in Spotify. I later learned that apparently you're not allowed to professionally DJ using Spotify, and I wish they'd told me that right from the start so I could have compiled the list in a more compatible format right from the get-go.

I think they would be a fantastic DJ for weddings that are closer to the Pocono/Allentown/Stroudsburg area (they drove out 2.5 hours for my wedding, which is quite the trek for a morning wedding where you can't set up the night before) and for brides who are either planning locally or have a planner who is local. I'm pretty sure that if we had checked in with each other a couple more times (or if I had delegated more to someone who could), everything would have gone a lot more smoothly.
