Since my fiancé and I were both Stanford grads, we have a special place in our hearts for Sinister Dexter. We were so psyched that they were available to play our engagement party at the Computer History Museum. Rebecca responded right away to our request and followed up on every last detail with the venue to make sure everything went smoothly. They even provided an iPod connection to their speakers so we could play "filler" music during their set breaks. Everyone had a great time and we got tons of feedback about how great the band was! Sinister Dexter was a lively and fun band we had at a company event. They would be perfect for a wedding - they can play a wide variety of music, and they have quite a few members in the band, so the music would definitely fill up the space. They were very professional while working with them!

We have worked with many bands over the years - Sinister Dexter is the best by far. The music is great for multiple generations. The dance floor was packed all night. For many, Sinister Dexter was their favorite part of the event. I can't recommend them enough!

Five stars across the board may seem like hyperbole, but Sinister Dexter truly MADE our wedding reception. Tight with logistics, powerful with sound, balanced for the space, and high-energy for the crowd. I could not have imagined it being any better. As professional as they come.

If you are looking to avoid an awkwardly empty dance floor, I would recommend Sinister Dexter for your wedding band. Not only do they bring great energy to any wedding reception, but they are great to work with an willing to take on any musical challenge that you may have in mind. (They gig quite a bit in San Francisco, and so have a very large book of music.) A great quote from one of our guests says it all "I've never been to a wedding where the dance area went from zero to packed in about five minutes."
