Bandleader Erik Yates has you covered. Wireless mics for the ceremony? No problemo. Beautiful processional music, an acoustic cocktail hour set, then a plugged in raging dance party for the reception? That's our specialty. Let's talk.
Services Offered
Gin and Boots is an acoustic trio rocking neon-bright pop covers on standup bass, violin, and guitar. The band's a perfect 'Swiss army knife' for your big day, at home playing your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. For a bigger sound, add drums to this group or check out Hot Buttered Rum, a five to six-piece bluegrass-rock band bringing decades of public & private event experience. Why not bring a music festival to your wedding? Or, if time travel's your thing, Speakeasy to Me is a sophisticated swing quintet drawing inspiration from the glamour of the 1920s and '30s. It features female vocals, clarinet optional vintage dancers and some of the best outfits you've ever seen. If a full-sized group's too much for the space, talk to Erik about a duo or solo set. Or maybe it's a mutli-day wedding-palooza?! Bring all three!

Best Wedding Ever
Erik and the boys were awesome, professional and – most importantly – fun. We had a very small wedding in Mendocino, so they really just felt like an extension of the friend group.
At the same time, they brought all the equipment and professionalism you’d expect from a veteran touring group of world-class musicians. I mean, we got a private Hot Buttered Rum concert (!), which would have blown my teenage mind back in the early aughts.
On a personal note, I’d just add that these guys are some of the kindest folks you could ever hope to meet.
Highly recommend them for all your wedding needs. Take me back!

Erik was super easy to work with and had great ideas for how to use our venue (barn). It was also supposed to be largely outside, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we were inside...which I think was even better. They were very flexible. Highly recommend.
