I cannot thank Preston and Pure Ecstasy enough for making our wedding day truly special. Their performance was nothing short of extraordinary, and they truly made our wedding day unforgettable. I have been to so many weddings and I've never seen an entire ballroom get on the dance floor to kick off the night! This band KNOWS how to get people on the dance floor and we never wanted the night to end! The best memories were made and even pants ripped from dancing so hard! They exceeded our expectations in every way and created memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. If you're looking for a wedding band that will elevate your special day to the next level, look no further than Pure Ecstasy. They are worth every penny and more! The band was a hit. My husband loves bluegrass music, so I was relieved to discover that the Bay Area has a vibrant bluegrass scene. The music was fun and danceable. They were responsive and very friendly. It's a mix of men and women in the band, so it's a nice sound. They can provide a sound system. The only reason I didn't give them a full five stars on professionalism is because they don't seem to have a lot of know-how on the technical side - they weren't sure how lo go about getting a generator for an outdoor performance, and they weren't sure if their CD player could play burned CDs. Luckily, my wedding planner handled those details.

We hired Harry Best and Shabang- a steel drum band located in the Bay Area for our reception. They were great!! We had a solo steel drum playing while guests arrived at the wedding and then the guys played for our cocktail reception. They are very professional, great musicians, and priced right. They were great to work with and very responsive to requests. Check them out if you are looking for a tropical vibe...

Hot Einstein ROCKED! We wanted to have a super-fun, energy-filled, dance-your-pants off wedding party and we couldn’t have asked for a better band. Every step of the planning process was easy and they even learned the song to play for our first dance, plus played all our old favorites. Everyone had so much fun and Hot Einstein kept the dance floor full all night! Plus, excellent emceeing! A joy to work with and can’t recommend Hot Einstein enough.

We love, love, love this band! They play New Orleans-style Mardi Gras brass band old-timey party music that appeals to all ages. Literally *all* physically able guests were dancing in the impromptu conga line at the reception, and some of the servers too!

The Purple Ones were amazing to work with and they made our reception incredibly fun. This was the best money we spent by far!

Matt Roads and Ivy Hill Entertainment performed the MC, band booking/management and audio tech for our wedding on 9/21/19, and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Matt was very communicative and accommodating throughout the planning process, and made coordination with our band, venue, and wedding planner very easy. We definitely recommend Matt/Ivy Hill for any band/music booking, MC or audio tech activities!
