All of my guests are still talking about how great the food was. We used them for our cocktail hour, buffet dinner, as well as cake-cutting services. No complaints here. We loved it.

Simply Southern was a no brainer for our wedding. We chose chicken fingers, ham, squash casserole, green beans, macaroni, salad, and dinner rolls. And for our cocktail hour we did grilled cheese with tomato bisque. AND LET ME TELL YOU--everyone was raving over the food. The portions are amazing--we never ran out, and everything was to die for. She supplied the non-acholic drinks as well, and everything was set up nicely. Typing this right now is making my mouth water for that food all over again. The food was amazing! Freshly prepared and hot! and the cheesecake? TO DIE FOR! best cheesecake ever! Everyone kept talking about the food after the reception and we loved the togo plates they made for us to take after the wedding as well!

When we began the process of planning our daughter’s wedding reception, we knew right from the start that we wanted a southern flare to the food that was offered. We had worked with Simply Southern before at several events and knew that they offered exactly the high quality menu with that touch of the south that we were looking for. The staff is very professional and the food is just out of this world! I lost count of the number of guests at the reception who came up to me praising the deliciousness of the food that was offered. Several of them even went as far as to say that it was the best “wedding food” that they had ever partaken of. I have to say that, I am inclined to agree with them. Simply Southern offers southern flavored comfort food that is just as much at home at a fancy wedding ceremony as it is at your grandma’s kitchen table. It’s the best of both worlds, really.

I am still hearing rave reviews for the food and she even took care of the cocktail hour which was delicious as well! From set up, to serving and clean up we couldnt have been happier!

My wedding was July 17, 2016. Amy was amazing. Our food was delivered and setup as a drop off. She prepared everything fresh and delicious. My guest loved everything and went back for seconds and thirds. She kept in contact and even talked to our wedding coordinator a month before the wedding. She listened to everything we wanted and delivered and decorated everything beautifully. She is an amazing vendor, very accommodating and helpful. Our original caterer canceled on us at the last minute. Amy worked with our budget and ideas. She even came to my dressing room and hugged/congratulated me after she set up the food. I love her and her service. She is very worth it!

Their food is spectacular!!! Everyone at the reception raved about how great the fried chicken and bbq were! SS has several options at prices that fit my budget! The service and presentation on the big day were also impeccable! I would definitely recommend Simply Southern for any event!!!
