We did not know nor understand trusting the vision of Simone Elise until well.... we did! My husband and I chose them because they were so transparent and understood why we needed decor help initially. We are both busy law enforcement officials, along with caring for my Mother with Alzheimer's, there was no way I could select our wedding decor. We had a clue, but did not have the time nor possess the access to resources that would render beautiful, classic results. Not that I did not want to facilitate my/our own vision, we simply do not have those types of careers and that type of time to compare and deliver without error....however, Simone Elise did. The preparation that entailed their presentations to us, repeatedly via power point and virtual was comforting. Even with changing mechanics such as band placement, chair structure, food arrangement, Simone Elise covered everything. Every time I had a random question that was super important to me, Mrs. Tish had a complete answer for us and quickly. This meant the most to us, because again we were too busy to plan or carry out decor, we had to turn our vision over to Simone Elise. Once we were 100% sold on the decor presented and had chosen it; it was apparent to me that choosing Simon Elise was the best decision. They were able to cover basics with us and refer vendors who are sought after and professional, just as they are. Mrs. Tish kept in contact with me, and not just when payment was due, this dynamic husband/wife decor duo wanted to unsure that we were okay in navigating our wedding experience every step of the way.


The first time we saw our reception space, I was in tears, grant it we were not surprised of the layers of fabrics, hues in the venue space, and fragrance of fresh flowers that filled the air. Everything was perfect and this was the room designed especially for us, the busy professionals who are also caretakers, who wanted their reception space to match the grandeur of love reciprocated between us. We are forever grateful for Simone Elise, for providing the perfect, classy, timeless, event space that is now part of our love story.

Once we hired Tish and Darius as our wedding planners, as a bride I felt as if a large weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Darius and Tish are AMAZING!!!!! Okay let’s start with the beginning. A year ago, Maurice and I got engaged. I have always wanted a beautiful wedding but didn’t know where to start. Okay, I googled wedding planner near me and SIMONEELISEEVENTS came up with a 5.0 and all wonderful, loving reviews. I called, left a message and they called me right back!

From that first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. Tish OMG! She is firm and mean what she say but also very gentle, patient, thorough and loving. Her and Darius made sure to let us know about every detail. That included the smallest to the biggest detail. We met every month on zoom discussing details, making changes and adding things. Tish and Darius showed us pictures and designs to choose from. As they was showing us different things she made sure to let us know, “okay Tierni, those flowers can be a little more expensive than the others or that pipe and drape is expensive but this is your day lol.” The whole time Maurice is giving me the side eye.

Tish maybe didn’t see this moment, Maurice and I were doing the first look. My photographer handed me my bouquet and that’s when the tears started. It was beautiful and big with REAL flowers! My ceremony and reception decor was very beautiful, I cried when I saw the reception room for the first time.

The night before I was so nervous and worried, Tish sent me a sweet morning message and I felt a little better. The entire day went smoothly. What impressed us the most was how caring and compassionate Tish and Darius were during the whole planning process. That meant a lot to us.
