A big Thank You to Silver Star Ranch & Venue and the wonderful staff for helping to make my daughter’s special day beautiful and stress free. Silver Star’s Lindsey is great to work with as she listens to your vision and can come up with magical ways to make it happen. She was always very responsive to the thousand questions and calls we had. We got to meet the new owners Tonya and Dallas as they stopped in to meet us and it added a great touch to our event. It was nice they personally wanted to see that our event was a wonderful memorable experience for my daughter and our family. The venue itself is just a pristine picture overlooking the lake. We had the ceremony in the gazebo with the lake in the background and the pictures are just breathtakingly beautiful.
This is a full-service venue, so we did not have to search for the caterer, DJ, florist, and they had suggestions for photographers. Silver Star says they provide everything but the ring, you can trust they know what they are doing and will provide you a carefree, stress-free beautiful event. There were so many little extras that were included in the package like the beautiful large easel for the bridal picture, the candles & floral arrangements were just what we envisioned and even the bubbles at the end. It was also great that the grandparents were greeted with a golf cart and delivered right to the door. What a great idea! The food was served hot was delicious and we appreciated the selection that was available.
The wedding party took advantage of the accommodations that are available so we didn’t have to worry about leaving at a certain time that night and could linger out under the patio and enjoy the country moonlight and stars after such a happy event. Although we didn’t fill up the lodging area, it will house fourteen, we were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and there was plenty of room for the bride and brides’ maids earlier in the day to get ready for the wedding. The shabby chic atmosphere was very clean and every detail for our stay was taken care of. The groomsmen were very comfortable in the large room upstairs with their own restroom, tv and shuffleboard.
The Wedding Suite was so cute, and Silver Star made sure that it was a special place for my daughter and new son-in-law.
We just had a perfect day and I got to enjoy being the Mother of the Bride instead of feeling stressed about the details. I was able to be with my family and friends & enjoy my daughter without looking over my shoulder to make sure everything was handled.
We’re already trying to decide what event we can have at the Silver Star to get to go back and enjoy being taken care of with such gracious Texas hospitality.
