Shillawna is a great photographer! My now husband is not one that just loves to be photographed, but Shillawna was great on helping us warm up to the camera and enjoy ourselves! She was always very prompt to respond to any questions or requests that I had, not to mention ORGANIZED, which I appreciate so much. She has a light and airy style to photography style which I love and is one of the reasons I went with her in the first place. She takes beautiful high quality photos. Shillawna is amazing, truly. I can't rave about her enough to do her justice. Her organizational skills paired with her creativity and insanely awesome work ethic sets her apart. Everyone wants gorgeous wedding photos. I got 'em. Off the bat, we FaceTimed as I live in Minneapolis. She and I talked for over an hour and it wasn't just about logistics. She wants to know you and makes you feel really pampered. She sent a questionnaire beforehand. It's genius because she already knew a lot about me before we FaceTimed. Shillawna helped me with my time table to get the best possible pics. My wedding was outdoors and she knew how the light was going to be, she even knew when the sun would be setting months beforehand. She said what times would work the best to do this and that to make my pictures the best. She takes a lot of photos and works really hard to get those perfect shots. She helped me in and out of her car and cranked the air conditioner for me to go to my first look location! She even let me use her powder! Then, I was surprised with a fireworks display over the pond and that gal plopped down in all kinds of angles and was going to town. She's also really smart with the way she handles the time table on the day of. She means business. Keep in mind, she'd been doing this all day, always had a smile on her face and knew what time the fireworks should start for the best pics. I am so pleased. She gives excellent direction too. She sent me a flash drive that is rose gold and some physical pics in the sweetest glass box. I'm so impressed with her. She is patient, vigilant and will do anything to please her clients. I feel blessed I had her. When you look at your wedding photos and start crying because they're so beautifully done, you know you've made the right choice 110%!

When my husband and I started looking for a wedding photographer, we really wanted someone who could take stunning outdoor photos as well as indoor photos. Many of the photographers had good outdoor photos but when it comes to indoor photos, they were inferior in quality. Shillawna’s photos on the other hand were absolutely stunning despite different lighting situations. When we had our initial consultation, we were blown away by Shillawna’s attention to detail and professionalism.

On the wedding day, Shillawna and her assistant Terri went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and were willing to arrive super early at our get-ready sites. She even made a timeline to ensure we get all the shots we wanted. She was so patient with all of our family members who speak very little English and took time to give directions and made everyone look great.
