Accomplished soprano available for wedding and commitment ceremonies.
I was previously was a soloist and part of the Sanctuary Choir at First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh, a member of the professional choir with East Liberty Presbyterian Church for fifteen years and performed as part of the a Capella group the Good Companions in the Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival.
While living in Chicago, she was the lead vocalist and played bodhran for the Four Leaf Clovers, an Irish music quartet, and the Cloverleafs, a trio. She also presented a solo program of Irish folk music for the Gaelic Arts Society and has been an invited "singer in the pulpit" at Pittsburgh area churches.
As a stage performer she has appeared in several musicals, including an original production of "She Who Must Be Obeyed" originating the part of Ustane, and as Shen Te / Shui Ta in "Good Woman of Setzuan" in which she composed most of the original music for her character.
Most recently, I have been a featured soloist with the Pittsburgh Pride Choir.
I'm classically trained and sing in a number of styles, including contemporary, Broadway, light jazz, Gaelic, and folk, and languages.
