Classy and Reasonable

This location offers excellent options. There is an outdoor gazebo under the trees and a lovely large building with an elegant large antique bar. The people are wonderful to work with, and the cost of this venue is more affordable than several we looked at. We reserved the area for 11 hours total. Would recommend Shawnee Town in a minute!

This was the only place we found that was reasonably affordable and would also allow you to bring in your own alcohol and catering. The place is beautiful and we filled the place up with about 210 people, anymore and it would have felt crowded. (We only used this place for our reception.) The staff was very helpful and super easy to work with. They did require a off duty office be hired, which is completely understandable, he was a pretty chill and cool guy anyways. I highly recommend this place! Our theme was 1920's and the venue matched perfectly.

Shawnee Town was the perfect place for our wedding and we received so many compliments. The majority of our friends live out of state and my husband's entire family does, too, so we wanted the wedding to be in a location that 1) made everyone feel like there were in Kansas and 2) close enough so they didn't have to travel too far from the airport and hotels (the Plaza). The ceremony was in the gazebo, the cocktail hour was outside (with the stone wall as the bar back) and of course the reception was in the Town Hall. Royal was very receptive and helpful in our planning. I thought she's probably get sick of my questions but she always greeted us with a smile (so important with stressful wedding planning).
The best part is we were able to plant a tree in Shawnee Town and will always have something to visit. Thank you Gay and your staff for an great wedding planning and wedding experience. I can't imagine our wedding being anywhere else.

My wedding ceremony was held outdoors in the gazebo at Old Shawnee Town, and my reception was inside the Town Hall. The cost to rent both was extremely reasonable compared to other venues, and was just as beautiful. The Town Hall is very elegant inside, with wooden floors and white crown molding outlining burgandy walls, and a beautiful oak bar. If you're looking for a low cost venue without having to sacrifice decor, then Shawnee Town is a great option!

I rented the Old Shawnee Town Hall. The outside looks more like a warehouse, but the inside is GORGEOUS! It's an elegant almost Victorian looking room with wood floors, pillars, and design. It's an elegant old fashion style with modern equipment. They have a nice kitchen for the catering, a bar, a screen (you have to bring your own projector) for sideshows or movie clips, a wireless microphone, and other things we didn't use. They provide the tables and chairs (you'll want to get table cloths and chair coverings though).
This place was perfect for me! I love the old elegant styles!
You'll want to book it really early though because this place fills up fast!

This is such a beautiful place! We had an outdoor wedding in the park, and then had the reception in their "Town Hall". You can also have the ceremony and the reception inside if you want. They had beautiful accomidations!
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
