Sharon Simon Weddings is a non-denominational wedding officiant based in New York, that seeks to add laughter and extra love to your wonderful wedding ceremony. Sharon adores what she does and writes every ceremony with the individual couple-of-honor at the heart of her words. With a background in comedy, Sharon likes to inject good-natured humor into her weddings to reflect the joy of your day and keep your guests engaged throughout the proceedings.

Best ceremony I’ve ever seen- Uncle Fred, 72

Sharon took so much care into making a beautiful ceremony for us. My husband and I are a mixed religious background and Sharon incorporated elements of both religions into the ceremony. My guests and family were so touched at her personal notes and beautiful explanations of our relationship and the traditions. She was eloquent, personal, touching and funny. My uncle said it was the best ceremony he’s ever seen and everyone was so moved.

Sharon is amazing

Sharon was such a wonderful officiant at our wedding. She made the ceremony so special. She is the warmest and kindest person and delightful to work with every step of the way. We wanted some tradition but also to add a personal touch and she made it perfect. I cannot recommend Sharon enough.

Incredibly moving

Sharon hasn’t known my now husband and I for long but in the short time of us getting to know her we knew she was perfect. Everyone is still calling me telling me how moving our ceremony was because of her. She put every piece of our love into words and I can’t thank her enough. If you don’t hire Sharon you’re honestly making a terrible mistake because she made our ceremony far from a snooze. We all laughed cried and are so thrilled with our decision of hiring Sharon.

Beautiful intimate ceremony

Sharon was a wonderful officiant! She weaved our stories together with humor and created a ceremony that felt intimate, personal, and all about our story. The evening felt very organic and I liked the flow between her words, the selected readings, and our vows. We were super happy with how everything came together. :) Our guests also heaped compliments on her service to us after the ceremony, so we know we made the best decision booking Sharon for our wedding.

Incredible officiant! Provided personal and meaningful ceremony

Sharon was an absolutely incredible officiant. We wanted someone who would give us a simple ceremony that was personal and light, and that was exactly what she delivered. She paid attention to everything we said in our written and verbal conversations, and beautifully incorporated it into what she said during the ceremony. Her words were funny, sweet, and true to us as a couple. Even when a fishing tour nearby interrupted our vows, she helped us to laugh it off and smoothly continue on with the ceremony. We highly recommend her.

Simply Amazing

Sharon made our wedding ceremony absolutely wonderful. From the first phone call to the day of, Sharon was kind, accommodating and helped to put us at ease. She asked thought provoking questions about our relationship to make our ceremony personal and true to who we are as a couple. Several of our guests came up to us following the ceremony raving about how great her ceremony was. Look no further for the best officiant in the biz!

Sharon was amazing!!!

Everyone kept telling us how special our ceremony was thanks to Sharon! She did an amazing job. She was super responsive and communicated with us prior to our wedding day to learn more about us. It was an honor to have her officiate our wedding! She was funny and our guests absolutely loved her.

Sharon is amazing!

I got so many compliments from my guests about Sharon! She really took the time to get to know our story, and relationship. The service she performed was very specific personal to us. I had a few particular things I wanted done in the ceremony (like instead of "kiss the bride" I wanted her to say "kiss each other"). She took all of our requests very seriously, and delivered. She was also very prompt, attentive and well-versed on the marriage laws. She was also willing to coordinate her outfit to us, which I thought was very sweet!
