Award-wining cellist, Sharon Gerber, combines her training from one of Europe's leading music conservatories and her years of professional performing experience with her genuine love for others and her desire to touch their hearts with her music. She offers a unique and elegant cello-solo music package for weddings, concerts, corporate events, and house concerts. Sharon is fully equipped with sound amplification, a looper, and beautiful accompaniment tracks, making her sound both luscious and full, yet with the intimacy of a live soloist. Sharon plays everything from soothing classical and worship music to lively contemporary/popular songs. Her sound is one-of-a-kind and provides a timeless, cool vibe to any event. Sharon also offers the addition of a violinist and/or a keyboardist to join her.

Wedding 2025

Sharon truly was amazing in every part of preparation for the wedding, making sure we were happy with song choices and make wedding day even more beautiful. Perfect music for the ceremony

I'm so glad we found Sharon for our wedding – her music was a perfect soundtrack to our ceremony. She had lots of options for music and I was delighted to have a Sigur Ros song playing for my walk down the aisle! The whole process was smooth and easy, thank you Sharon!

I cannot express how talented and professional Sharon is. We had her play our sunrise wedding at Pretty Place chapel on March 7, 2025. She was very patient with all my indecisiveness with music choices and was willing to do anything and everything to work with our musical vision for the day. We felt so blessed to have such a talented and experienced cellist. She is far more than a cellist who plays weddings. She is an unbelievable musician with a passion for her work and sound. I had so many songs in my prelude to show off her talent. Her ability to layer and loop is amazing. She was willing to literally do anything we wanted, but honestly her own work is the best. We cannot express just how happy we were with Sharon, not to mention it was below freezing on the day and she played perfectly regardless! She is so sweet and kind. Thank you, Sharon, for your beautiful music on our wedding day! God Bless you! 🤍🕊

Just superb

Sharon and her musician talents were just amazing. She handled all aspects of our ceremony music which was a huge help to me as the mother of the bride. I wanted beautiful music from the start to the finish, and it was just as we had hoped. We were able to share recordings to let her know our desired style of arrangements, and she gave us great advice when we asked her opinion. All the musicians chosen for our string trio and keyboard were top notch professionals who played perfectly beautiful. They even went far and beyond what was expected by holding a rehearsal for a young vocalist to feel comfortable with the accompaniment for her song. I was more than thrilled to have such a talented keyboardist with a great voice to lead our congregational songs during the wedding. People have requested the video of the songs because it was all so wonderful. Thank you again Sharon and friends for such a wonderful experience!!

Excellence

Sharron has always had an incredible talent to bring her best and to elevate any event she plays in. She played for my and my wife's wedding in May of 2024 and she brought an unprecedented professionalism and care to everything she did. She communicated well and promptly as well as took all our requests and somehow made them better than we could have imagined.

The Highlight of Our Ceremony

Sharon provided one of the highlights of our ceremony and the time surrounding it. From the first consultation call, where she played a sample of some of our favorite songs to the list of songs she sent us to the day of the wedding, she was communicative, helpful, and caring.

We loved the combination of classical music and modern songs in her repertoire and especially appreciated her willingness to adapt our processional song (the prelude to Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major) to the length of our processional. Her music set a beautiful tone, and we loved having her play during the cocktail hour as well. By far our favorite vendor of the wedding.

Beautiful Celloist

Sharon did a beautiful job making our daughter's wedding day extra special! She listened to our ever request and did everything possible to make it work! She felt like family from our first contact. Beautiful Music!!

We hired Sharon’s daughter, Anya, as a violinist at our wedding and she did an AMAZING job!!! Her beautiful music made our ceremony and cocktail hour so special and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone! Thank you Anya for playing such a great role in our day!!

Absolutely perfect! HIGHLY recommend

Sharon was everything we dreamed of for our wedding. She was professional, on time, prepared, and had done exactly what my wife and I had hoped for our ceremony. Her music and rendition of “Grow As We Go” captured my wife and Is story together without a hitch and it was beautifully done. We had our wedding inside, and it was very relaxing to hear her music playing before the ceremony as we all waited in the back. She did an outstanding job of allowing her music to be very present without having an overly dramatic or attention grabbing personality - the best of both worlds, in my opinion. Humility and talent at its best.

The process of booking was seemless, and she was able to be very accommodating and flexible on our day of as we had to move inside due to rain.

Her music range and ability to play songs that we requested personally gave us the perfect balance of ambiance and elegance while not losing the upbeat nature of the music that we had hoped for (I.e. coldplays “yellow”).
Would recommend to anyone looking for a Celloist for any sort of event but especially a wedding venue.
