Shannon was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I found her after doing extensive research looking for an artist who could do both hair and makeup, and I could not have made a better choice. My trial was perfect, and on the wedding day I had a few things I wanted to tweak, and she was so easy to talk to, incredibly receptive, and made adjustments without hesitation. She truly listens and wants you to feel like the best version of yourself.

My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, even through hours of dancing in the summer heat and all the happy tears. The makeup was exactly what I wanted: beautiful, natural, soft glam, and I loved the products she used. I still felt like me, just elevated.

I also had a large bridal party, and Shannon was so organized and calm. She created a clear schedule and coordinated seamlessly with the other stylists she brought with her, which made the entire morning stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

I am SO HAPPY that I decided to go with Shannon for hair and makeup for my wedding. Hair and makeup was actually my most difficult vendor choice, and I could not have ended up making a better one. Shannon was such a pleasure to work with. She had a calming presence on the wedding day, and was very relaxed and easy to work with. She is a perfectionist when it comes to hair and makeup, and worked with me throughout the process to make sure everything was just what I wanted. I absolutely loved my final look! I am SO happy I went with Shannon for my wedding day hair and makeup. At our trial, she was very helpful in explaining the types of foundation that she could use vs airbrush and I am so glad that we narrowed down on some options and see how it sat on my skin throughout the day. I am so happy we did a trial because I was able to see how my hair held the curls, which then was the determining factor on how much product she would use for my hair for wedding day per my preference of the tightness of curls. I loved that Shannon was so accommodating and was able to hear out my likes and dislikes for makeup preference; she took this into consideration throughout the whole process.

Shannon did my tea ceremony and wedding day hair and makeup. We ended up doing airbrush for both days and I was so obsessed. The airbrush did not budge on my face even with unplanned happy tears throughout the day. She really listened to my preferences of keeping my brows light and my choice of lashes because I wanted a more natural look. Her makeup and hair was SO perfect! She has the expertise in choosing the right colors for your face and nothing felt cakey at all. My makeup was full glam yet natural/neutral, and my face skin was glowing all day. I have had horror stories with other makeup artists in the past and my experience with Shannon was more than perfect. I ended up deciding to do a low bun for wedding day which we did not do at our trial; I was so happy with her work with the low bun because it was everything I envisioned- modern, clean, with face framing pieces, without being too tight or loose. Even her face framing pieces suited my face shape well because she perfectly positioned the front curls to fall in the right places without being overly stringy or curled. The low bun that I had envisioned was very specific because I hoped it to be modern and clean. Her work was out of this world and I will be forever obsessed! For my tea ceremony hair, I opted for soft/loose hollywood waves with extensions and the curls stayed in place all day even with hot weather. I am so thankful!

She also provided/coordinated services for my very large bridal party as well as the mother of the bride and groom. She is very reliable, professional, and always gets back to you in a timely manner. Looking for a wedding hair and make-up artist can be really overwhelming, but I'm so thankful that I was able to work with Shannon! I decided not to do a trial appointment because we were having a small ceremony but her work was amazing and she made the whole process super easy. She was extremely punctual (even at an early start time), and she created the natural look I was hoping for. PLUS it still looked so fresh 10 hours later! Shannon was amazing to work with, from the moment I inquired about her services to the day of my wedding. She made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. My makeup and hair held the entire night! Additionally, I love that Shannon gave me a touch-up kit (lipstick) that my MOH helped me reapply throughout the night and during my portraits with my photographer.

On Time: Shannon was at my suite door, on time and began working on my bridal party.

Timing: Despite one of my bridesmaid having longer/more hair that required a little more time, Shannon and her assistant managed to keep to their schedule and we were all ready on time.

Communication: From the inquiry to the trial to the wedding, Shannon responded to all my questions and gave clear instructions how to prepare my hair for the best possible outcome (I have straight hair that does not hold curls well).

Shannon was amazing to work with and her excellent work speaks for itself. I did a trial/engagement shoot with her as well as the wedding day including bridal makeup, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers. She's open to any adjustments that you want and works with you to find the look you want. Her expertise in the natural glam look was perfect for both events and she is extremely versatile in applying the right style and amount of makeup based on the person's age, facial features, and preference for coverage. Everyone's skin looked absolutely flawless but not cakey so it looked great in person and in pictures.

She's very patient and flexible to work with. On the wedding day when it's easy to get off schedule, she was always calm and patient with people arriving early/late. She arrived on time and stayed to help me put my veil on and finish up any touch ups. Her partner, Jody, who helped do hair for the bridesmaids was also amazing to work with. She was quick and created beautiful styles that matched each person.

Shannon's prices are pretty comparable to other makeup artists in the area and it is definitely worth it to have someone of her expertise and talent make sure you're ready for one of the most important days of your life. I highly recommend Shannon for any special event.

Shannon made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Looking back at professional photos my hair and makeup looked absolutely amazing (honestly the best I ever looked) and I'm so glad I chose Shannon. It also lasted all day and night! Previously when I had professional makeup done by other people I was not happy. I didn't feel like myself. However, Shannon listens to feedback and how you wear and prefer to wear makeup. I still felt and looked like myself when Shannon did my look, just a more glam version :). I had a trial a few weeks before my wedding and it was incredibly helpful for making final decisions on my look.

Shannon brought in an assistant to do hair for my four bridesmaids and her work was lovely + lasted all day. My bridesmaids were commenting on how nice she and Shannon were. They were very pleasant and easy to work on top of being professional and on time.

I’m so beyond thankful that Shannon did my hair and makeup for my wedding! I had a hard time describing what I thought my wedding look should be and she was so patient and flexible with me and helped guide me as we tried multiple looks and even found time to squeeze me in for a last minute second trail when I was being indecisive.
