Shannon was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I found her after doing extensive research looking for an artist who could do both hair and makeup, and I could not have made a better choice. My trial was perfect, and on the wedding day I had a few things I wanted to tweak, and she was so easy to talk to, incredibly receptive, and made adjustments without hesitation. She truly listens and wants you to feel like the best version of yourself.
My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, even through hours of dancing in the summer heat and all the happy tears. The makeup was exactly what I wanted: beautiful, natural, soft glam, and I loved the products she used. I still felt like me, just elevated.
I also had a large bridal party, and Shannon was so organized and calm. She created a clear schedule and coordinated seamlessly with the other stylists she brought with her, which made the entire morning stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. -

I am SO HAPPY that I decided to go with Shannon for hair and makeup for my wedding. Hair and makeup was actually my most difficult vendor choice, and I could not have ended up making a better one. Shannon was such a pleasure to work with. She had a calming presence on the wedding day, and was very relaxed and easy to work with. She is a perfectionist when it comes to hair and makeup, and worked with me throughout the process to make sure everything was just what I wanted. I absolutely loved my final look! You will not regret booking Shannon! -

I am SO happy I went with Shannon for my wedding day hair and makeup. At our trial, she was very helpful in explaining the types of foundation that she could use vs airbrush and I am so glad that we narrowed down on some options and see how it sat on my skin throughout the day. I am so happy we did a trial because I was able to see how my hair held the curls, which then was the determining factor on how much product she would use for my hair for wedding day per my preference of the tightness of curls. I loved that Shannon was so accommodating and was able to hear out my likes and dislikes for makeup preference; she took this into consideration throughout the whole process.
Shannon did my tea ceremony and wedding day hair and makeup. We ended up doing airbrush for both days and I was so obsessed. The airbrush did not budge on my face even with unplanned happy tears throughout the day. She really listened to my preferences of keeping my brows light and my choice of lashes because I wanted a more natural look. Her makeup and hair was SO perfect! She has the expertise in choosing the right colors for your face and nothing felt cakey at all. My makeup was full glam yet natural/neutral, and my face skin was glowing all day. I have had horror stories with other makeup artists in the past and my experience with Shannon was more than perfect. I ended up deciding to do a low bun for wedding day which we did not do at our trial; I was so happy with her work with the low bun because it was everything I envisioned- modern, clean, with face framing pieces, without being too tight or loose. Even her face framing pieces suited my face shape well because she perfectly positioned the front curls to fall in the right places without being overly stringy or curled. The low bun that I had envisioned was very specific because I hoped it to be modern and clean. Her work was out of this world and I will be forever obsessed! For my tea ceremony hair, I opted for soft/loose hollywood waves with extensions and the curls stayed in place all day even with hot weather. I am so thankful!
I highly recommend Shannon for her hair and makeup services because she truly listens to you and her expertise will guide you to have your dream wedding day look! -

Wedding make up and hair
If you can book Shannon for any event for hair and make up, I would 100 percent recommend you do. She did my hair and make up for my wedding and it turned out amazing— I felt so beautiful and confident and received so many compliments. She also provided/coordinated services for my very large bridal party as well as the mother of the bride and groom. She is very reliable, professional, and always gets back to you in a timely manner. Shannon is an incredibly talented make up artist who helped made my day really special. -

Shannon was amazing to work with, from the moment I inquired about her services to the day of my wedding. She made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. I received so many compliments from family and friends saying I looked beautiful, and looking back at my professional photos makes me smile and look back on my special day.
My makeup and hair held the entire night! Additionally, I love that Shannon gave me a touch-up kit (lipstick) that my MOH helped me reapply throughout the night and during my portraits with my photographer.
On Time: Shannon was at my suite door, on time and began working on my bridal party.
Timing: Despite one of my bridesmaid having longer/more hair that required a little more time, Shannon and her assistant managed to keep to their schedule and we were all ready on time.
Communication: From the inquiry to the trial to the wedding, Shannon responded to all my questions and gave clear instructions how to prepare my hair for the best possible outcome (I have straight hair that does not hold curls well).
Thank you for making me feel beautiful on one of the happiest days of my life. I loved everything about my wedding day! -

Shannon made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Looking back at professional photos my hair and makeup looked absolutely amazing (honestly the best I ever looked) and I'm so glad I chose Shannon. It also lasted all day and night! She did my mom's hair and makeup as well and my mom was so pleased. In her words- Shannon knows what she is doing!
Previously when I had professional makeup done by other people I was not happy. I didn't feel like myself. However, Shannon listens to feedback and how you wear and prefer to wear makeup. I still felt and looked like myself when Shannon did my look, just a more glam version :). I had a trial a few weeks before my wedding and it was incredibly helpful for making final decisions on my look.
Shannon brought in an assistant to do hair for my four bridesmaids and her work was lovely + lasted all day. My bridesmaids were commenting on how nice she and Shannon were. They were very pleasant and easy to work on top of being professional and on time.
Shannon is an absolute pro and can't recommend her enough. I wish she could do my hair and makeup for every event haha -

I’m so beyond thankful that Shannon did my hair and makeup for my wedding! I had a hard time describing what I thought my wedding look should be and she was so patient and flexible with me and helped guide me as we tried multiple looks and even found time to squeeze me in for a last minute second trail when I was being indecisive. On the multiple days of my wedding she helped keep me calm and made me look amazing. She’s SO talented and I looked and felt so beautiful thanks to her! I’m actively looking for other events I can book her for - I can’t wait!

Absolutely Incredible!
Shannon was incredible to work with, responsive, kind, and attentive. The whole experience was stress free. I can’t recommend her services enough, I’m going to cherish our wedding photos for a lifetime. She is very kind, punctual, and really good at what she does and she made me feel so gorgeous during my makeup trial and on my wedding day! She used high quality products on me, my mom, mother-in-law, and my maid of honor that lasted the entire night. We received so many compliments on our hair and makeup. Shannon is an extremely talented hair and makeup artist! When I first saw her portfolio, I knew that she was the HMUA that I wanted to work with for my big day! I scheduled a makeup trial, and even though it was hard for me to describe the look I wanted, Shannon immediately understood the vision, and the hair and makeup was not only flawless, but looked beautiful the entire day. Shannon was also incredibly responsive to my inquiries and emails, and I truly appreciated her attentiveness to communication.
For the wedding, Shannon and her team came early, and were extremely professional in their work. Everyone did an outstanding job, and my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law all looked stunning! My hair and makeup looked even better on the day of the wedding, and I received compliments all day! Shannon made me look and feel beautiful on one of the most important milestones in my life, and I was extremely grateful for her and her team. My bridesmaids also loved the work that Shannon and her team did. In addition, Shannon's work was also reasonably priced at market rate - especially for the quality of her work and professionalism. If you book Shannon for your big day or special event, you will not be disappointed! -

Shannon Le is a master at her craft! I've never felt more beautiful and confident after she did my hair and makeup for my wedding and engagement shoot. She tailors your look to your wedding dress/style, and accentues your makeup to make you look and feel your best. When I tell you I gasped when she turned that mirror, I GASPED. I truly could not believe the transformation and how confident I felt. I was even contemplating sleeping in my makeup because it was too pretty to wash off! (Don't worry I didn't)
Not only will she make you look and feel your best, but also you'll feel like you're hanging out with a friend throughout the whole process. She's extremely professional, punctual, and so much fun to get ready with. Book her for your wedding, photo shoot, or if you just want to look and feel your best!! -

Shannon was so great!! She made the whole process so smooth and easy, with quick communication and a clear contract. When I hadn't responded for a few days, she kindly reached out to let me know that another client had contacted her to inquire about the same date that I requested her for. We did a hair trial, and she did my hair + moms'/aunt hair/makeup on the wedding day. Everything turned out so beautifully!!! I don't typically do anything with my hair, so I didn't really have a specific vision in mind. I relied a lot on her expertise, but she also made sure to ask me about my preferences, and made sure that I liked the end result. She did a gorgeous updo for the wedding day -- my husband asked if I could "do my hair like that more often". She is super friendly, relaxed, and made me feel comfortable. She was also very accommodating, and was able to squeeze in my aunt's makeup last minute. So grateful for her services that morning, and would definitely recommend her/hire her again for any special event! -

Most Beautiful Day of my Life!
This is such a long overdue review. Shannon and her team were simply amazing. I loved how she listened to what I wanted even prior to our trial session. Shannon took the time to review the photos I sent her of what my wedding day inspiration and gave insightful suggestions on what would or would not work well with my bone structure and face shape. This was immensely helpful as I felt very overwhelmed initially with so many ideas and styles. We ended up deciding on Hollywood waves for my hair with jeweled clips and smoky glam makeup. I absolutely loved it and felt stunning on my wedding day.
The day of my wedding, Shannon and her team were on time and on schedule, keeping us on track so we wouldn't be delayed with my ceremony starting. Her team glammed out my bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law and Shannon made me feel like a princess. Nearly every guest commented on how beautiful hair and makeup turned out for everyone and I cannot thank Shannon and her team enough for their amazing work!

Shannon was the hair and makeup artist of my DREAMS!!!
After going through her portfolio, I was sold on booking her for my wedding day. I scheduled her to do my engagement photo shoot hair and makeup and she executed exactly what I was hoping for! Despite it being windy by the ocean, my hair and makeup did not budge.
Then the pandemic occurred and our our wedding day plans had to be postponed. I am so grateful that Shannon 1) was still available and 2) was flexible and professional in allowing me to re-schedule to 2021 without any penalty.
Because I was planning a wedding across the country, I was not able to come do a formal bridal hair and makeup trial with her. However, she was in regular communication regarding what I liked and did not like. She even helped me choose out my hair piece after I showed her my wedding dress. On the wedding day, she made me feel like a queen! I wanted to feel like myself but elevated with makeup and she delivered!! If I could have cloned her, I would have had her work on my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law too! Now I am just waiting for another special occasion to book her for hair and makeup. Thanks a million Shannon!!! -

Amazing!!!
Shannon did my bridal hair and makeup. She also did the makeup for my mom, two sisters, and aunt. We LOVED our makeups. It lasted the whole night!!!… and until the next day 😂😂😅 since I got so tired and didn’t not remove my makeup. At first, I was hesitant because of the price but I reached out to a lot of people and found her price were market price. Still with a lot of money, I was nervous going in. I booked the trial to be safe. My first trial was good.. she did exactly what I asked her to do but it wasn’t a style of hair and makeup I was used or felt comfortable. And so I requested for another trial and she was very gracious and worked with me. On my second trial, I went with something more me and I felt great! Then comes the wedding day!! My family’s reaction to their makeups were genuine “WOW”s. That reaction is so rare in my family that we cracked up every time they looked at a mirror and said “WOW”. In addition, I requested some more modifications on my wedding day and she was sooo understanding and delivered!! I would recommend her!! -

There are not enough words to express how happy I am to have worked with Shannon. Shannon is not only a talented makeup artist but hands-down one of my favorite and friendliest vendors that we worked with. She not only made me feel beautiful on my wedding day but made me feel calm throughout the entire morning and chatted like we were old friends catching up + exchanging favorite food spots as she worked her magic on me.
I booked her even before undergoing my own trial session (due to COVID) and never doubted my decision for one second because of her accurate up-to-date portfolio and inspirational examples on her IG. We made two tiny changes from the trial session and Shannon understood instantly and fixed them on the wedding day.
Having acne prone and oily skin, let me tell you - my makeup stayed on and looked flawless the entire day into the evening (October weather for reference).
I want to find more reasons to get my hair + makeup done just to work with Shannon. If you are hesitating or overwhelmed with options, end your worries now and book her before someone else books her first. -

Shannon is hands down incredible. She is talented, professional, friendly, and organized, to name a few. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She worked with me to achieve the look I wanted, offered advice and guidance, and had no problems answering any questions I had. I planned my wedding from long distance, and she made it so easy.
On the day of, her and her team were phenomenal. They did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and 8 bridesmaids. They were incredibly organized and worked with such a flow, allowing everyone to feel at ease and have fun while we got ready. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, everyone looked their absolute best, and I have Shannon to thank for that!! -

Shannon and her assistants (Gina and Jasmine) did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party in the beginning of March. That was 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and me and everyone turned out gorgeous! Shannon was professional throughout the whole process. She kept in touch with me prior to the wedding and provided a schedule based on what time I had to be at the venue. The whole team was amazing!. They were all really nice and also hygienic! – everything used was clean and sanitized. Working with Shannon was very easy-going. She is incredibly talented. I highly recommend! -

I highly recommend Shannon as your MUA and hair stylist! Personally, I haven't had much luck working with MUAs who know how to apply makeup well on my monolid eyes, so that's an area where I'm most picky. I don't wear makeup much daily and hardly ever use eyeshadow because I find it so hard to apply the right colors and apply it correctly on myself (without it looking like I've given myself a bruised or swollen eye lol), but Shannon just went in and worked her magic with little guidance from me. She is truly talented and knows her stuff well. She takes her time to listen to you every step of the way to make you feel most comfortable with your look, and reassures you when you're hesitant about anything. What I appreciate most about Shannon is her ability to adapt to any modifications on the whim. I also highly recommend doing a trial for your hair and makeup too so you have the ability to adjust anything after seeing the pictures! Trust me, it's worth it. I already loved my initial look during my trial, but on the day-of I had her slightly change both my hair and makeup and she gladly went with it. And boy can she curl hair well! I felt SO breathtakingly beautiful and SO gorgeous the day of my wedding and I know you will too. -

Amazing make up artist!
Shannon is so amazing! Unfortunately my makeup artist for my wedding had to cancel couple months before my wedding and I found Shannon through a friend and she was so great! I was a little nervous to get my makeup done as I don’t wear too much makeup regularly but she put all my worries at ease. She worked with me and helped me achieve exactly what I wanted for my wedding. She also drove all they way out in the middle of nowhere at 5am to start my makeup for me and my bridesmaid on my wedding day! I highly recommend her and will use her again! -

I was always super picky about makeup and I never liked to over do it.. Shannon makes me feel so comfortable because she understands the structure of my face. THAT IS A BIG DEAL PEOPLE... There is never an occasion where I need my makeup done and I don't call her.. She recently did my makeup for my bridal shower and wedding day and people wouldn't stop commenting on how beautiful my makeup was. She was my first wedding makeup trial and I booked her instantly without hesitation! She was so professional, yet caring, patient and kind. I showed her some looks that I loved and she executed It flawlessly. I’ve never felt more beautiful than my wedding day and it was all thanks to her. She is such a versatile make-up artist that can truly adapt well to any look or style you're hoping to accomplish. She is also a great listener and is a wealth of knowledge with plenty of helpful recommendations and ideas given her experience. I knew immediately after my trial that I needed to hire her for both my engagement photos and wedding day. In both instances, Shannon was prompt and well-prepared. I especially loved her fancy foundation airbrush machine that made my skin look goddess-like! Love, love, LOVE her work and would recommend Shannon's services a million times over. -

She also is a pro on estimating timing, when she said we would need 6 hrs for 4 girls I was surprised but she was right. We were done in perfect timing. She's amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her.

She did my mom's, and my sister's make up as well. She did so well that both my sister and my cousinhired her for their weddings! As an out of state bride, which is very nerve wracking, Shannon made everything a breeze! Her calm demeanor is exactly what I needed! I emailed her MANY MANY questions from should I get a spray tan to is this hotel ok for getting ready etc. and she was responsive and helpful at every turn! I felt like she was a friend by the time we met up for my very early City Hall Ceremony glam. We went without a trial, but I had emailed some general ideas beforehand and completely changed my mind morning of and Shannon rolled with it. She even helped my MOH dress me and kept me feeling calm and beautiful on my wedding day. Cannot recommend her enough, thank you Shannon! -

Shannon was a pleasure to work with! I did a trial for hair and makeup, and she was very receptive to my notes and also honest about what wouldn't work as well for me. On the day of the wedding, she was very considerate of my concerns and was very mindful of products she did and did not apply. When it came to choosing the eyeshadow palette that could go with my red qipao and my white wedding dress, she was perceptive of what I preferred and encouraged me to go with color vs neutral, and I'm so glad she did!
My hair and makeup looked great from morning through the end of the night, even after an afternoon outdoors that reached 95 degrees in SJ. Shannon was professional, kind, and so calm as my getting-ready area was filling up with more people and activity. I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day. Would highly recommend her for your hair and makeup! -

Probably one of THE BEST vendor decisions I made for our special day! I had read many glowing reviews about Shannon's work and when I reached out to her in Oct 2022 she was on maternity leave so I wasn't able to book a trial with her until the month before my April wedding. I admit, I was initially hesitant to book her for my wedding since we wouldn't get to meet until only a month before the wedding and if we didn't gel it would be too late to find another hair and makeup person but my worries were unfounded since everything surpassed my expectations.
My trial in March was wonderful, she was kind and welcoming, and very helpful since I didn't have a clue about what I wanted. On the day of my wedding, she did the most phenomenal job on my hair and makeup! I have thin hair and was hesitant to do an up-do since we had only tried a half-up at the trial but on the day I went for it and she made it absolutely stunning. The makeup was extremely flattering without being caked on (great since I am a +40 yr bride) and best of all, it came out beautifully on all of our photos and videos. I felt and looked the most beautiful I ever have. Best of all, Shannon has a calming energy which is perfect for the morning of since there is already so much going on.
I look forward to hiring Shannon again for my other special occasions. -
