Pastor Shandi was an incredible officiant. I - as the bride - grew up at a church in Worcester, MA where Pastor Shandi was the primary Pastor for several years. Though he had moved away at the time of our initial engagement, I was so adamant that he marry us that I was actually planning on flying him in for our our ceremony (though luckily he ended up moving back to the area). Through our counseling sessions Pastor Shandi got to know us as a couple, and it was reflected throughout so many different aspects of our marriage ceremony. From the scripture passages we chose together, to the specific facts about how we met, and the course of our 6-year relationship pre-marriage during the sermon, it was clear that he had really taken the time to create a personalized ceremony for us. I have no regrets, and many of our friends and family commented on what a special (and NOT BORING) ceremony it was. Don't hesitate to have Pastor Shandi officiate your ceremony - just know you'll also have some homework to do as a couple too.

Pastor Shandi was such a special part of our wedding day. Having him officiate meant so much to me personally, as he was my family’s pastor growing up, and it made the experience feel incredibly full-circle as we began this next chapter together.

Pastor Shandi was absolutely perfect as our wedding officiant. Being of Zimbabwean descent as well, he was so attuned to all of our cultural needs as well as the religious ones, which made our ceremony feel incredibly personal and meaningful. The premarital counselling we had with him beforehand was also excellent thoughtful, helpful, and a really special part of the journey. He was always very responsive, professional, and supportive throughout. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Right from the beginning, we were glad we chose Shandi to officiate our wedding. He responded right away when I sent my inquiry. He answered all of our questions very clearly and thoroughly and we had 2 zoom meetings and met us at rehersal! Everything went so smoothly. He helped us through our journey of getting married with pre- marital counseling and being the officiciant and man we learned so much and even though I was married previously for 22yrs I still learned so much from Pastor, he gave us activities to do every week to make learning interactive and he's very much a people person and did I mention patient?
