We are so happy we chose Shadow Glen for our wedding reception. The event planner was SO helpful and took care of almost all the details. We had to move the reception inside due to weather at the last minute, and she made sure to take care of everything. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, and on top of that, they came in around $700 under the budget they quoted us. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to find a venue in Kansas City

The banquet director at Shadow Glen made sure to return any of my questions via email and phone call in a timely manner. She worked with my budget which included food options and was flexible when I needed to meet with her to go over wedding details. Just give her all the details and she will make it happen. She was professional and worked with our DJ and the woman who catered our wedding cake. We were able to sample some of the food catered by Shadow Glen after we signed the contract. They had a scheduled date for couples and/or family members to sample their food. The venue is absolutely gorgeous in a secluded area, and surrounded by trees; we had our ceremony outdoors and reception indoors. We had a plan B to hold our ceremony indoors if it rained outside, but it never rained the day of our wedding. My husband and I were able to ride on golf carts close to the venue to get our wedding photos taken. They provided table cloths, napkins, silver ware, plates. We were able to bring in desserts and a couple appetizers. All our guests kept complementing on the food and the venue. Highly recommend!
