Shades 'n Staples just DJ'd at my wedding this past weekend. These guys are absolutely talented and know how to keep the party crackin' on night long! The most fun part about weddings is when the dance floor opens up and the guests can get loose and just dance. I've been to a few weddings where the DJ was terrible, resulting in people not really dancing, therefore, not really having fun. With Shades 'n Staples, that will definitely not happen! They were very responsive via email and text. Working with them was very easy. I would send them a list of songs, when to play them and they took care of the rest. The price was very reasonable. A DJ is something that you don't want to cut corners on or the dance floor with be empty. I grew up listening to 90s and 00s music and they incorporated a lot of that as well as current popular songs with smooth transitions. Throughout the night, I had soooo many guests come up to me asking, "Who's the DJ?" and "The DJ is killin' it in there! The music is on point!"

Hands down, the best DJ I've ever listened to and I will definitely be hiring them again for any special events.

They're the best. Everyone at our wedding was dancing, drinking, having fun, and asking "who's your DJ?" Justin et al are easy going, easy to deal with, and extremely responsive to email. They got everything right from the ceremony, to announcements, to dancing. We grew up in the 90's and love the R/B (Usher, Doveshack, Snoop Dog, SWV etc). This is what we requested and Shadesnstaples delivered. Highly recommend.

DJ Lucas was awesome on our wedding day! He came in to the reception on time and ready to set up. He was great helping me with my music play list and communicated well with me beforehand to make sure everything is ok. Will definitely refer him to my friends!
