Seward Party Rentals was an excellent resource for tent rentals and the most inexpensive option in Bloomington, IN. Their employees were very friendly and efficient, arriving early the day before my wedding to assemble the tent and coming back Sunday to disassemble and take away the tent, rather than waiting on the usual Monday pick-up day. They have multiple locations, including one on the West side of Bloomington, though they only seem to have a few employees, which made it difficult a couple of times to reach them. However, when I did they answered all my questions and were very thorough with all the details. When picking up the tent the day after my wedding they even offered to help move tables that were still under the tent.

We went with the 40x80 option because we needed to have the bridal party, around 200 guests, gifts, cake, and the buffet all under the tent and were able to do this comfortably without being crowded. The tent cost $950, (the most inexpensive I found in Bloomington), plus another $200 for lights. After tax and a delivery fee the cost was around $1300 but well worth it. I would definitely recommend Seward Party Rentals to anyone needed an affordable tent and would use them again.

We rented a few tables we needed for our buffet as well as chairs for the ceremony. They were the closest party rental company I could find to our venue, which was a definite plus. They were flexible in working with us on picking up the rentals. They are a small family company, so they are a little hard to get in contact with sometimes, but they are very accommodating. Their prices are the most reasonable I found for the area.

Our experience with Seward Party Rental was incredibly pleasant when booking and handling payments. I was grateful for their speedy response, and delivering capabilities. …However, the day of our wedding they shorted us 10 chairs which left us in quite a pickle. We gave them a ring that weekend in hopes they could fix the error before our special evening, however we didn’t receive a response. Although this was beyond disappointing, they were still agreeable to work with, and promptly issued us a refund the following business day. If seeking rental items for your special event, I would still recommend Seward… just double, triple check the correct items are being delivered!
