We recently hired this petting zoo for our church Easter event for kids, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

The most concerning issue was that they left all of the animal feces under our tent at the end of the event. We contacted them and respectfully asked if they could return to clean it up. After a lot of back and forth, they initially refused, stating that because it was wet, they wouldn’t pick it up. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we had discussed the possibility of rain ahead of time, and at no point did they mention that weather would prevent proper cleanup. We’ve worked with other petting zoos before and have never encountered anything like this.

Eventually, after continued discussion, they agreed to come back and at least attempt to clean the area. However, the situation escalated when the owner’s husband began using foul and unprofessional language over the phone, saying they wouldn’t “effing” come clean up our parking lot and that we should have more sense. This language was repeated multiple times and was completely inappropriate.

In addition to that, we later heard from several children and our church volunteers that the attendants on-site were rude and unhelpful throughout the event. This is especially disheartening given that this was a children’s church event meant to be a positive and welcoming experience.

Overall, we were extremely disappointed and honestly offended by how this was handled. We would not recommend this company based on our experience.
