Please DO NOT hire Carlos Bradley. He recently re-branded as carlosandjen.com or "Weddings by Carlos and Jen" (probably due to his poor reviews). He is NOT worth your stress, time and money. If you hire him, be prepared to spend time in small claims court fighting for your photos. He completely ignored us for nearly 6 months. We didn't know what to think. Did he run off with our money? Were we ever going to get our photos? We finally got desperate and sent him a certified legal demand letter that he ignored. On a last ditch effort I sent him an e-mail with mail tracking and he finally sent us our photos. I don't think they were actually edited. Adding a color filter doesn't count as editing. I am going to get the photos re-edited by a real profession. Many of the photos he sent were in black and white which didn't make me happy. Anyone can change a photo from color to B&W but you can't go back to color very easily. After bugging him every day for a week, he finally sent me the raw photos that I had to try to convert back to color myself. Please just stay away. Carlos Bradley is not worth your money. If you don't believe me, check out his Yelp page. Apparently, he doesn't care about his clients or his business based on how he has treated us and other couples that have posted reviews on this page. Do you really want someone like that taking your wedding photos?

Carlos is unprofessional, has terrible communication, and is full of excuses! He has too much else going on in his life to make his photography clients a priority. Finding the perfect photographer was my #1 priority for my wedding, and within 4 months of hiring Carlos, I knew I couldn't trust him or rely on him for my wedding. He is super responsive via email at first, but as soon as he receives your first dime, all communication ceases.

I hired Carlos last June because I loved his personality and thought his work was beautiful. He seemed like he would be really fun to work with. That's where the good review ends, as I quickly realized that maybe a "fun" photographer wouldn't make the best photographer.

After I sent Carlos the deposit, everything changed. While he would previously respond to my emails within hours/a couple of days, once he got the deposit, he would take an average of 7-10 days to respond to an email, and when he did, it was usually him saying he was out of town/the country and would get back to me later. I had to REPEATEDLY ask for the contract to be sent to me, and he sent the incorrect price on the contract TWICE. Though I sent him money in June, we did not get a signed/completed contract until September, despite multiple requests. He cancelled our engagement session only a few hours before it was supposed to begin because he was in another part of the state with a broken down car. He is absolutely not worth the money and I would steer any bride clear of him!

If I could rate Sevenstory Photography a negative score, I would have. DON'T HIRE SEVENSTORY PHOTOGRAPHY! Carlos Bradley of Sevenstory is a photographer to stay away from. Only a fraction of the photos he shoots are even decent, he doesn't spend any time editing the photos, he is a liar and doesn't actually deliver the products he commits to on his contract. If you are evaluating him as a photographer-FIND SOMEONE ELSE, ANYONE ELSE!! If you have already had him shoot your engagement photos and have him scheduled to shoot your wedding-CANCEL!!! Hire someone else!!! If it's possible for someone to negatively impact your most special day, it's Carlos.
Carlos and his wife, Jennifer were hired to shoot our wedding day because we wanted 2 photographers to capture twice as many moments throughout the day. Carlos and his wife didn't shoot twice the photos, they shot all of the same photos from 2 different angles. We had multiple shots of every pose at the expense of capturing experiences happening simultaneously and they missed so many standard photos that any novice photographer would have ensured were taken. For example, they didn't take one picture of our 1 hour cocktail reception-not one picture of any of our guests, the area decorations, cute signage, etc. They didn't take one posed picture of me with my dad (Bride and FOTB), no posed pictures of my husband and his 2 sons our ring bearers, they only took one pose of me with my bridesmaids-no cute pictures walking or something creative just one of us standing side-by-side, THAT WAS IT, none of me by myself all dressed up, only pics of me getting dressed, etc. Carlos is unresponsive, full of excuses, goes back on his word and doesn't deliver on the terms of his contract. When we asked him to reimburse us, he said he would. That was in July. We have never gotten a penny back from him. I wish we had never come across Carlos Bradley and Sevenstory Photography or hired him. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!

BEWARE. Please, please go somewhere else for your wedding photography unless you want to feel utterly anxious for several months.

The previous reviews basically explain EXACTLY what is happening to my husband and I.
You hear all these horror stories about wedding photographers, and you think that you'd be smart enough to not be fooled.
Carlos is VERY nice in person, super responsive at first and seems perfectly normal in person and while shooting your wedding.

After he received our deposit, it was radio silence. I had to email several times before the wedding, 2 weeks away,1 week, days, to make sure he was still doing our wedding as we heard nothing from him.

Wedding is shot, he was great at the wedding, the blog post came ( Later than promised) with some great pictures.

Our pictures were promised 6-8 weeks. 6 weeks pass, 8 weeks pass, 10 weeks pass, now we're at 17 weeks and NO PICTURES. Months later and my worst wedding nightmare has came true. We were promised pictures well before Christmas so that we can give our pictures to our family as Christmas gifts, and NOTHING. Then a promise that we would have some pictures before Christmas, NOTHING. Excuses after excuses from Carlos via extremely late responses from him. Finally I am done being polite, as I've been more than understanding about his wife's condition. But why is it that Carlos can't sit down and finish wedding photos that he has promised, but has no problem going out, taking other peoples money, photographing more weddings, hosting "workshops" while his wife is supposedly so sick?

WE'RE SORRY YOUR WIFE WAS SICK, WE HOPE SHE IS BETTER,
BUT PLEASE PLEASE JUST GIVE US OUR PICTURES!

At this point, we just want the pictures of the BEST and most special day of our lives, and now we feel sick with anxiety.
