Facilities and Capacity
Serenity Event Venue's recent history began 20 years ago. On this venue's premises, over 1,600 acres of Geauga County farmland were cultivated by Gene Soltis, a Parkman native. Preceding him was Mildred and Joe Hava, brother and sister owners. Following Joe's passing, Gene rented the land from Mildred, whom he describes as the sweetest woman someone could meet, and he later purchased the land from Mildred's niece. Gene and his wife Roxanne realized the potential in the 1901 dairy barn residing on the property. This epiphany came about after visiting various wineries, where they could visualize how such a venue could benefit Geauga County. By designing a place that others can enjoy, inclusive of Serenity specialty wines and fabulous wines from different regions, they saw how this property could become a true destination. Expanding the venue's hosting ability with an event barn, Gene and Roxanne are pleased to invite wedding couples to hold their special event at Serenity Event Venue.
While at Serenity Event Venue, couples can make use of in-house catering services. This can cover reception and banqueting needs, as well as buffet and decor options. Catering rentals include table cloths, a coffee station, linen skirting, fine china, drinking glasses, and a cookie tray, to name a few. Available decorative options include selections like table lighting, backdrops, archways, votives, centerpieces, vases, lanterns, and mirrors. From hors d'oeuvres like Swedish meatballs, cheese puffs, and eggrolls to entrees, such as stuffed rigatoni, pierogies, crab-stuffed tilapia, Crabbed Stuffed Tilapia has something for everyone.
