David did full photography and videography for our large cold wedding in Liberty, MO in October and not only did he do a great job, we consider him a friend now. Him and his brother consistently went above and beyond for my husband and I and never put any stress on us, they actually eased several tensions that day and made people laugh so the pictures looked more natural. I definitely recommend Selby Films, he's a pro.

My husband and I hired David over the phone after doing extensive research on him and several other photographers. I could not find a bad review! He had such a down to earth personality and ease to his voice. We were sold and never looked back! Our engagement pictures were part of our package and we really enjoyed meeting David and developing a sense of comfort ahead of time. The day of the wedding David and his crew were top notch! We booked his biggest package that included 2 photographers and 2 videographers for the day. They were prompt on arrival and quickly took care of those detail shots and final touches of getting ready. Our wedding party and family felt so comfortable and couldn't believe how laid back yet professional the guys were. I never imagined I'd laugh so much with my photographers! We've received a large sneak peek of about 100 photos and can't wait to see the rest along with the videos! I look forward to working with David or any of his team in the future as we grow our family! Thank you David, Austin, Jacob and Taylor for making our wedding day one we can look back at and be right in the moment all over again!

David was absolutely amazing!! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the wedding process which was so helpful because we are not. We met him for a get to know you meeting before the big day and he was easy going and great to talk to. On the day, he was on time. He was patient and kind and had a great arsenal of photos to take. He helped keep us on track and was instrumental in keeping me from melting down on several occasions. The photo we’ve already seen was phenomenal and I can’t wait to see more of his work! David was excellent and made our wedding day so much fun. He and his brother were easy to work with, had great ideas, and were very attentive and professional. We were IN LOVE with our pictures and received them back so quickly! Could not recommend him enough.

David was PERFECT! He did such a beautiful job photographing my wedding, it was exactly what I wanted. And his pictures are AMAZING!! He took some great photos that played with light and shadow, he set up some shots that turned out absolutely breathtaking, AND he caught some hilarious moments during the reception that weren't staged - I don't know how he did it, but he perfectly captured the mood and happiness at our wedding in his photos. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out and as an added bonus: David is one of the genuinely NICEST people I have ever met, my entire family loved him!! HIRE HIM for any special occasion you have, you will not be disappointed!!! I can't say enough good things about him!

David Selby as my videographer might have been the best choice we made while planning our wedding. He was on time and prepared, incredibly friendly and easy to work with, and produced a high quality video that we can't wait to watch over and over!! On top of that, the price is VERY reasonable when compared to other video makers in the area. Would definitely recommend Selby Films!!

My husband and I hired David to be the videographer for our wedding. From shooting the 'thank you' video to the final 'highlight' reel of our wedding day, David FAR exceeded our expectations. David puts an incredible amount of time and energy in his work and is SO much fun to work with! David makes it very easy to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. David is an incredibly talented videographer! He captured our wedding from the very beginning of the day (getting ready, setting up, makeup/hair, etc..) to the very end when we rode off in the sunset! The video is seriously perfect! It reflected my husband and my personalities wonderfully, and his music selections from were spot on. He even created a Groomsmen Gag Reel which was hilarious! I will be recommending him to anyone I know getting married. You won't be disappointed!
