David did full photography and videography for our large cold wedding in Liberty, MO in October and not only did he do a great job, we consider him a friend now. Him and his brother consistently went above and beyond for my husband and I and never put any stress on us, they actually eased several tensions that day and made people laugh so the pictures looked more natural. I definitely recommend Selby Films, he's a pro. -

Sarah Sent on 01/12/2015The footage that David captured of our wedding is something I don't even have words for. He captured it exactly the way I had it pictured in my head. I also barely even noticed him filming at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, but his videos showed that he caught everything I wanted. I think that is the mark of an amazing videographer...blends right in but is always there. -

My husband and I hired David over the phone after doing extensive research on him and several other photographers. I could not find a bad review! He had such a down to earth personality and ease to his voice. We were sold and never looked back! Our engagement pictures were part of our package and we really enjoyed meeting David and developing a sense of comfort ahead of time. The day of the wedding David and his crew were top notch! We booked his biggest package that included 2 photographers and 2 videographers for the day. They were prompt on arrival and quickly took care of those detail shots and final touches of getting ready. Our wedding party and family felt so comfortable and couldn't believe how laid back yet professional the guys were. I never imagined I'd laugh so much with my photographers! We've received a large sneak peek of about 100 photos and can't wait to see the rest along with the videos! I look forward to working with David or any of his team in the future as we grow our family! Thank you David, Austin, Jacob and Taylor for making our wedding day one we can look back at and be right in the moment all over again! -
Victoria Sent on 08/16/2018David was absolutely amazing!! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the wedding process which was so helpful because we are not. We met him for a get to know you meeting before the big day and he was easy going and great to talk to. On the day, he was on time. He was patient and kind and had a great arsenal of photos to take. He helped keep us on track and was instrumental in keeping me from melting down on several occasions. The photo we’ve already seen was phenomenal and I can’t wait to see more of his work! He was such a joy to work with and I truly feel like we made a friend through this whole experience. If you want the total package look no further! Selby films will make your day perfect.

From shooting the 'thank you' video to the final 'highlight' reel of our wedding day, David FAR exceeded our expectations. David puts an incredible amount of time and energy in his work and is SO much fun to work with! David makes it very easy to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. He is full of unique ideas and captured exactly what we had in mind. David was very responsive, flexible and exemplary in communicating the progress of his editing and when we could expect the final product. I would HIGHLY recommend Selby Films for anyone looking for an exceptional photographer or videographer! -

David is very professional and easy going and completely put my mind at ease from the moment I contacted him. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, he made the process so simple and went above and beyond on both occasions. User1501408 Sent on 01/09/2014Selby Films did an amazing job capturing my wedding. The sound quality is better than I ever imagined it would be. He caught some great moments. I was so pleased that he thought to have my husband and me say a few words to one another on camera prior to the wedding. On top of that it was my grandparents' 57th anniversary and he thought to have them say something to us and ended the video with their words. I will forever cherish that. He did a wonderful job and I will absolutely recommend him in the future.

Not only did David go above and beyond on our wedding day but he captured moments on video that were so candid but very special to a newly married couple. Both our e-vite and wedding video were done beautifully and both still bring tears of joy to my eyes when I watch them. David is professional, caring and willing to do anything in his power to give you the perfect video of your special day. I would recommend him over anyone in the videography business! -

We also love how passionate he is about what he does and it truly shows. He stayed at our wedding and reception for way longer than we paid for and he said he just had so much fun filming everyone that he wanted to stay! We were so thankful for how much footage he got! It truly made our day so special and one we will never forget! Thanks David! :) -

He is a treasure in the Ozarks and produces modern and meaningful films that will be treasured forever. He is a blast to work with and worth every penny.
