Rum runners did an amazing job with our cake! They only had a few vague ideas to go off of (my husband wanted to be in charge of the cake ;p ) but they made it work and they provided a super tasty and beautiful cake!

I had the pleasure to test cakes for my wedding and when I tell Megan really did an awesome job. The cake was delicious!!

Rum Runner's did not come up on my initial search for bakeries in Savannah, but they are by far the best choice. It's a family-run local bakery who is on point. They worked within my budget and threw out ideas on ways to save money rather than up-selling me. That's how I knew I was in good hands. I gave them inspiration photos and they blew those pinterest pictures out of the water. Those cakes were my favorite part of my wedding, simple and beautiful. They were the best tasting cake I have ever had too. I would highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Rum Runners.

Meggan was so great to work with! She did our wedding cake for our wedding at Old Fort Jackson on 11/10/18 and it was absolutely delicious!! She was flexible with our schedule (my husband and I couldn’t come in together to taste cakes, so she made a to-go box with cupcake samples and frosting for me to take home). The butter cake with buttercream frosting was a unanimous choice. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the cake and delivery was. I gave her a couple of inspiration pictures and told her to put her own creative spin on it and she totally nailed it! It was really beautiful! The delivery and setup was prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend Meggan and Savannah Rum Runners Bakery to anyone looking for a delicious and beautiful cake.

Megan was awesome to work with and the cake was exactly what I wanted: simple, beautiful, elegant, and DELICIOUS.

Great price and quality of cake. They were able to make the cake gluten free and you couldn't even tell. We got the hummingbird flavor and everyone loved it. I had a specific design in mind for the cake, they gave me their cell phone number to send the picture and the cake looked exactly like the picture. Very happy with how this turned out!

Working with Meggan and her team at Rum Runners Bakery was a great experience. We traveled around Savannah making cake tasting appointments, but had a very difficult time finding a cake we liked for the budget we had. Upon our first meeting, Meggan worked with us to figure out a budget-friendly cake option and went through a great cake tasting experience. (She even let us take home a little extra to let our family try it!)

The cake we chose was the Italian wedding cake with hints of pecans and coconut with cream cheese frosting. It was so delicious! On the day of the wedding, we had our florist bring in flowers for the cake, and together they added them to the cake beautifully. The cake was three tiers but the bottom was actually not cake, but decorated as if it was! Then we used sheet cake to distribute to our guests. I highly recommend this option for those on a budget. It worked out great. We were extremely happy with the cake and received many compliments.

We used Savannah Rum Runners Bakery and Cafe after a dear friend gave us a few places to try and we absolutely fell in love with there cakes. We was not sure what we wanted at first but Meggan worked with us and gave us multiple options and different directions we could go to keep the cost Low. We actually had 2 different flavors of cake/cupcakes and we will also get the Traditional ( freeze the top cake) Anniversary cake freshly made for our 1 yr Anniversary so we do not have to have frozen cake. We had a plan of 100 guests and got what we wanted at a great price. Thank you so much.
