It was so special and intimate. I have done all of the appointments from vintage and small curated designs where the assistants don't need to assist you, to the full Vera Wang experience where you are naked in the changing room. Sept New York was unmatched. Alyssa was an angel - she knew exactly when to leave you to have your moment and exactly when you needed assistance or guidance. I came into the store to try on one dress (which I loved), when I tried it on everyone loved it (my two best friends came to the appointment) but I didn't have that internal feeling. Alyssa suggested me to try one variation of the dress, as soon as I put it on I was in tears!

Sarah Seven LA was the first (and only) bridal shop I visited, and I had the best experience at Sarah Seven LA!

I got engaged on 12-10-21 and my husband and I booked our venue for a 12-10-22 wedding shortly thereafter. I was nervous going into wedding planning because I truly had no idea what to expect and I had never really dreamed about what my perfect wedding would look like, but I know how to dress my body and I knew exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress, I just didn’t know where to find it. I’m a really ‘easy’ shopper, so I had no interest going to a million different dress shops. Then I came across “my” dress on Pinterest, and after some reverse google image searching, I identified the Belmont dress. I knew the Belmont was my dress the second I saw it, so I went online and made an appointment for the following weekend at Sarah Seven LA.

Prior to my appointment, I received an email and phone call to confirm my Saturday morning appointment. Because of COVID, I was allowed to bring 1 guest with me, which was perfect because I wanted it to be just me and my mom. There was ample street parking (it’s metered) and when we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Matea, who was my bridal consultant and just so lovely. I tried on the Belmont dress first and immediately knew it was my dress! I explained to Matea that the Belmont was exactly what I imagined for myself, but to be extra sure, she convinced me to try on a few other gorgeous gowns. The one thing I really appreciated was that Matea listened to me - I explained that I know how to dress my body and I know what I like, and she didn’t pressure me into trying a bunch of different dress styles. After trying a few other gowns, I put the Belmont back on and Matea helped me pick the perfect veil - the Blanca. Then, Matea emailed me all of the details from my purchase, which included my measurements, the notes she took during the fitting and the purchase contract. I also opted for the in-house gown tailoring services (~$795), which I HIGHLY recommend - the tailor is exceptional and trust me, she just *gets* it.

Several months later, I got an email that my dress was almost finished and would be shipping out soon from NY to Sarah Seven LA. About 12 weeks before my wedding date, I got a second email from Sarah Seven LA notifying me that my dress had arrived. Sarah Seven LA also automatically booked me for my first fitting with the in-house tailor, which was about 10 weeks out from my wedding date. The email also provided me with all of the instructions for all fitting sessions (e.g., you need to bring your wedding day shoes to the second and third/final fitting). At my first fitting, I fell in love with the dress all over again - it fit like a glove! The appointment was relatively quick overall; the tailor made a few tweaks to my dress to make it extra snatched and scheduled my second and third/final fittings for me. The second fitting went exactly how the first fitting went. I brought my mom to my third/final fitting so that the tailor could walk her through the bustle, which was SO easy. She also went over the day-of instructions (e.g., how to steam the dress, etc.) and gave us a great recommendation for dress cleaning/preservation!

Overall, my experience with the in-house tailor was fantastic, and she really understood how to tailor to my body. My dress looked absolutely stunning - it was timeless, extremely flattering and very comfortable! I am still obsessed with my gown from Sarah Seven. I originally bought my dress in 2018 (!!!!!) for what was supposed to have been my May 2020 wedding. My original dress shopping appointment was so fun, welcoming, and I can't say enough about how beautiful the gowns are. If you are going for timeless, chic, and simple (in the best way), Sarah Seven is the place for you. We had to postpone until October 2021 and Sarah Seven was so accommodating and helpful. They do all of their tailoring in house which is a HUGE bonus. Since their expert team knows exactly how the dresses are supposed to look, you are guaranteed a flawless fit. I want to give a special shoutout to Dee and Allison- they really made Sarah Seven feel like home over my many year planning process, haha. Can't recommend Sarah Seven enough- I have already convinced two of my friends to buy their wedding gowns there and they are obsessed!

My experience working with Sarah Seven was amazing and I would highly recommend them. Sarah Seven dresses are so beautiful, unique, romantic and modern and I was so happy with my wedding dress. But what is equally amazing is the experience you have with the entire team. At every appointment, I felt heard and welcomed and they never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable. Dee and Erin were so warm and friendly and they each gave such helpful advice on how to tailor the dress and what shoes to pair with it. Jonetta was so talented and made the dress fit me perfectly. I went to several places to find a wedding dress and from the moment I stepped into Sarah Seven, I knew I had found the right place. Just being in the space makes you feel relaxed and each person there feels like a friend. Each dress was breathtaking and Dee, Erin and Jonetta created such a wonderful experience for me. They are truly amazing at what they do and I feel so lucky that I got to know them and work with them. I will recommend Sarah Seven forever.

I wanted a timeless dress that wasn’t princessesy and had style. Sarah’s style is edgy but minimalist and the girls here are so sweet and made me feel at home. Other bridal Sakson’s feel like factories and are so overwhelming but not here. Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely experience with Sarah Seven NYC. My dress was perfect for me and after multiple fittings to get it just right, I was so happy with it.

I could not be happier with my wedding dress, and it's all due to the help of Farron at the NYC showroom. After learning about Sarah Seven's gowns at a local bridal salon and realizing they had my perfect dress, I immediately booked an appointment at the showroom for the next day. As my mom was in town visiting, we were able to be squeezed in first thing in the morning before returning later that day to sign on the dotted line. When it was time for my fitting, we slowly worked to perfect small personalized details that resulted in the "simple and elegant" gown of my dreams. Farron held my hand every step of the way and became a true friend - so much so that I wish I had a reason to go back for more visits! The ladies that helped me find my wedding dress and worked with me through the alterations process were AMAZING. They responded to my emails so quickly and even were helpful with a little family drama I had. They were so understanding and terrifically supportive. It can be hard to try on dresses when you don't feel you look your best but these girls made sure I found the perfect dress for me and made it fit like a glove. They felt like friends rather than just salespeople. I love Sarah Seven dresses, mine was perfection and this salon made finding my dress a dream within a dream. Thank you!

Sarah Seven was an amazing experience getting my wedding gown. Her styles are like nothing else out there. Clean, beautiful and unique. If you are looking for something different but still get value and quality of service look no further. They were very flexible and do all alterations in house. I love my dress so much!

Farron and the seamstress were both super nice and made sure to do whatever they could to make my dress vision come to life! We made a change to the bottom of the dress just a couple weeks prior to the wedding date to achieve the longer train that I had been hoping for - we weren't sure it was going to come together but Farron made it happen and the dress was absolutely perfect on my wedding day.
