I imagine you're here because you're looking for a photographer who can join you on an adventure. Whether that be a big ol' wedding party, a small intimate elopement, a coastal drive, or a forest hike, I just want to capture all the amazing fun you and your partner have.
My Story
I've never been much for tradition, so you can imagine weddings were never really my "thing" when I first picked up a camera.
While I still wouldn't call myself a "wedding person," I have discovered that the wedding industry has been evolving away from the old cookie-cutter format and that is what keeps me doing what I do. My favorite weddings are the ones where the couple's personalities show throughout the day rather than getting lost in all the things they "have" to do. I love being part of a day filled with so much love and excitement and what I aim to do is find you in all of it. Because weddings aren't about fitting into a mold anymore - they're about you getting to celebrate your love.
My Style
I'd call it a weird fusion of fashion and documentary style photography, with just a little bit of quirk. I believe that photography is just as much about the experience as it is about the images themselves. If you don't enjoy yourself on a shoot or on your wedding day, you won't look back at your photos and feel that happy fluttering in your stomach. It will almost feel fake. That's not what I want and that's not what you want, so my goal is to make sure that when you're looking at your photos 10 years from now, you're thinking, "that was such an amazing day."

Sarah was great with communication throughout the planning. She set up a meeting beforehand to go over logistics and more importantly, checked in to see how we pictured the photos, asking us questions to really get to know who we were, and our personalities. In addition, she had us fill out a form closer to the wedding date, to ensure that she wasn’t missing anything. I loved her suggestions too for family photos - it made the process so easy for posed photos!
And on our wedding day itself, Sarah and Nick balanced well between acting as if they weren’t there (so my husband and I could act more naturally), and guiding us to specific locations for photos, all while answering to both my specific requests that came up and guest requests! A huge multi-tasking feat. Thank you SO MUCH, Sarah and Nick for your amazing work.
