Sara did an outstanding job playing for my wedding. She was professional, well-prepared, and fun! She played the pieces we gave her with excellence and went above and beyond to make it to our wedding (which was not close to her home!). She is not only a wonderful performer, but she is also a great collaborator. For our wedding, we had a violinist play along with the piano and with little practice time together they completely rocked it! We were so incredibly pleased with how she was able to connect with the violinist and create such beautiful music. If you are looking for someone who will be well-prepared, professional, fun, and last but not least, someone who will play musically, you should definitely ask Sara to do your wedding! You will not regret it.

Sara Van Weelden was remarkable in her services for our wedding day, and truly wonderful to work with in the months leading up to it. Her skill as a pianist is excellent, as are her tastes in music. We asked her to play some music which we specifically requested, and also to provide some additional music from her own repertoire. We were thrilled with her musicianship on those we requested, and enjoyed every minute of the pieces which she chose herself (some of which included spectacular arrangements of her own). My wife and I can assuredly say that she was clear and proactive in communication throughout every step leading up to the ceremony.

Beyond her professional giftings, Sara also extended compassion and warmth as she strived to affirm the importance of our special day in all of her conduct.
