Sandra Poterfield was our florist for our May 2nd wedding at Excelsior in Lancaster, PA. We booked her for our day after I met with three other vendors. Beyond giving a fair, thorough, and thoughtful quote, she was such a joy to talk to and work with. Once we decided to book with her, we ended up meeting at her workshop, which was so nice of her to do, since we were not often in town to have other meetings, as needed. We were also able to get to know her more on a personal level and found her kindness, enthusiasm for her job, and professionalism made us even more sure that we chose the right person for the job.
I am a big plant person, so when I envisioned my wedding, I wanted something bold, colorful, and fun! I wanted it to feel like Sandra just went out and picked up wildflowers in the most beautiful colors and put them together in a bouquet. Sandra literally read my mind with the vision and then made it even better.
We made some last-minute changes, some of them literally days before the wedding, which didn’t shake Sandra. We changed bridesmaids’ dresses, added a new piece to decorate (a trunk), and a sweetheart table instead of a head table, and she was super flexible with us. We even did another quick call before I sent her the final check to make sure everything was correct.
Everyone complimented the florals, and so many people wanted to take them home with them! Even better, she worked in my random, obscure thoughts and added succulents (which I love) into our florals, alongside daisies, eucalyptus, blues, purples, pinks, and other beautiful flowers. It was everything I wanted and more.
I would use Sandra over and over again. She’s extremely talented, communicative, and she’s just a good person. So when I tell you that you should use Sandra for your wedding, I mean it. You will not regret it.

Sandy does an AMAZING job, our flowers were gorgeous and it was obvious the amount of time that was spent on our flowers. She was wonderful to work with and is such a nice person, although I may be biased as she is now my aunt! I would highly recommend her!

AMAZING! Sandy was nothing short of amazing! She took my vision and with her creativity made it happen. The flowers that she used for the wedding were just stunning. I had happy tears when I saw my bouquet - just stunning. Everyone thought the flowers and centerpieces were just beautiful. I highly recommend her for any floral needs.

Sandra Porterfield was wonderful! My flowers were beautiful. Her experience, professionalism, and artistic eye was proven during our consultation when we chose the flowers to use for my wedding. The center pieces, rose pedals down the aisle, and bouquets were beautiful! The colors she recommended blended with my outdoor garden wedding and complimented the bridesmaids dresses. I just wish I would have preserved my bouquet before I left for my honeymoon!! It was so sad coming home after a week away to see my gorgeous bouquet half wilted!

Sandy was amazing! Had terrific ideas, and worked with me to create a wonderful wedding. From my flowers down the aisle to the arch she created, to the centerpieces to my bridal bouquet. Everything was wonderful, she was so wonderful to work with. Can't say enough about her.

Sandra Porterfield is AMAZING! The flowers for my wedding were simply beautiful and exactly what I envisioned, even though I did a terrible job describing what I was hoping for! The flowers she picked out were just perfect.

She is an extremely talented florist, who is also absolutely wonderful to work with. She is extremely professional and flexible. I know very little about flowers, so she was able to make suggestions and give me ideas even though I gave her very little to work with. I am pretty sure the description I provided her with was "I would like something bright and summery." However, what she came up with for my flowers, somehow was exactly what I had envisioned and was hoping for.

I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is getting married or who needs a florist! When people see my wedding pictures, one of the first things they comment on is how beautiful the flowers are. They really were breathtaking!

i honestly do not have any negatives to say. it was truly a wonderful experience working with sandy. Every change even last minute ones were taken with ease by sandy and everything was done beautifully and on time. It was one less thing to worry about the day of my wedding, because i trusted she would do a good job. There is nothing i would change about my flowers and working with sandy! she did a great job and clearly takes a lot of pride in her work!

Sandy was fantastic to work with! She is very friendly and personable, but also very professional. She was able to stay within our budget, but also make our flowers look exactly as we wanted them. The end result was just as we imagined it. The wedding decor really came together because of the beautiful flower arrangements Sandy created.

Sandy created the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, arbor and ceremony arrangements, and more for our wedding and did an absolutely stunning job. Our flowers were more perfect and beautiful than I ever imagined. All of the arrangements were full and the flowers were big, healthy, and a beautiful color and condition. I wish they could last forever. On top of being an amazingly talented florist, Sandy is one of the kindest people I’ve had the privilege of meeting during my wedding planning process and she was truly great to work with. If you want to have the most breathtakingly beautiful arrangements/bouquets/etc., look no further than Sandy. She’s truly the best!
