If you’re thinking of booking Samiah, just do it already!! Samiah is truly a light and I’m so grateful I found her. I originally reached out to her last year to do an engagement shoot on the beach and after a session with her I immediately knew I needed her on our wedding day. It was our first time taking professional pictures and she made us so comfortable and gave us so many helpful tips to help us loosen up! Communication, professionalism was on POINT, she even gave us a bunch of recommendations for things to do in aruba, places to eat, locations to shoot, etc. She’s also real AF, I appreciate transparency and she is a straight shooter. Samiah has exceeded every single one of my expectations and her personality is such an added bonus. I’m not kidding this woman PAYS ATTENTION not just to detail, but how you’re feeling and is so in tune with the people she’s photographing. She brought such peace and warmth to me on my very overwhelming wedding day and I really couldn’t have done it without her hyping me up the way she did. There’s not a doubt in my mind that this is what Samiah is meant to do; she has the talent to capture REAL, raw moments. I will be traveling from new york to aruba for all of my photography needs from here on out- or fly her in hahahah. In all seriousness, she is an incredible photographer and has given me so many stunning pictures that I will cherish forever. Her style and vibe is everything that I align with so booking her for my wedding, after doing the engagement shoot with her was a no brainer. Working with Sami for my wedding was a dream. She was so warm and friendly, and her passion for her art was evident from the beginning. Sami was flexible for our situation and gave us ample time to sign our contract with her. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision! Sami's dedication to producing her clients' vision is beyond admirable and the time she dedicates to her work is impressive. She does, however still turn over material in a timely fashion.
Sami was so warm and friendly when we finally met for my wedding and I felt that she understood me and my wants so well. She was extremely supportive towards me during the wedding as she clearly understood my position with trying to get all the pictures we wanted. Even several of my guests complimented her friendly demeanor and ability to fit right in with our small group. We even decided on the fly to have Sami sign as a witness on our marriage license. 10/10 I would recommend her to absolutely anyone and I would work with her a million times over. Working with Sami was probably the best decision of our wedding and certainly our best financial investment!

Samiah captured our elopement so beautifully. Her energy is calm, comfortable, and fun. She has a way of instilling a confidence in you, which allows you to feel beautiful and like your authentic self. We cannot wait to work with Samiah again in the future!
