Aruba Wedding

My husband and I got married at the Renaissance in Aruba in August 2022, after having postponed our wedding for two years due to the pandemic. That being said, we actually met with Jordy in January 2020 and we were immediately impressed by his company's work. Now that the wedding finally took place, I can confidently say hiring Aruba wedding for photography and videography was one of the best decisions we ever made. We recently received our wedding photos and video and we cannot be happier with the outcome. From the preparation, to the ceremony, reception, family portraits, etc., all fo the photos were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Our wedding day photographer, Rafael, was just amazing - fun, professional, passionate and extremely talented. The same goes for Kanter, our main videographer, who captured all of the most important moments of the night and put together one of the best wedding videos I've ever seen (although of course I am biased!). Everyone on the team was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. We also did a "trash the dress"/Island tour photoshoot a few days after the wedding, which entailed taking portraits of my husband and I in different beautiful landscapes throughout Aruba. We absolutely loved the experience as a whole, and our photographer, Joshua, was a major part of that. Like Rafael, he was incredibly talented, patient, lively, and would do anything to get the best shot. The images that he captured on that day are just breathtaking. All in all, Aruba Wedding Photo is by far the best photo/video company in Aruba and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone lucky enough to get married in the beautiful island. THANK YOU!

I initially spoke with Jordy, the owner, and explained exactly what we were looking for when it came to our wedding photography. He did an incredible job listening to what was important to us, understanding the vision we had in mind, and making sure we were paired with the right photographer to bring it all to life.

Our photographer, Raffael (“Rafa”), was absolutely fantastic. He met with us a couple of days before the wedding during our pre-wedding meeting with our coordinator to go over the game plan, and right away we could tell how prepared and professional he was. He was extremely attentive to what we wanted and made sure he understood the moments and details that were most important to us.

On the wedding day, Rafa was amazing to work with. He has a ton of personality, which made the entire experience fun and comfortable, and his creativity really came through in the photos. He was also excellent at giving us direction, which was especially helpful because he always seemed to know exactly how to position us or what to do to get the best shot without making anything feel forced.

Most importantly, we are EXTREMELY happy with the final product. The photos came out incredible and captured our wedding day exactly the way we had hoped. Looking through them allows us to relive so many of those moments all over again.

I cannot recommend this team enough! They photographed our engagement session in Aruba in 2024 and then our wedding, and from start to finish they were absolutely incredible.

We especially want to recognize Ames, who photographed both our engagement session and our wedding. Throughout the entire process, we built such a great relationship with her, and by the wedding day she truly felt like someone who knew us. She took the time to understand exactly the style we were looking for and really captured our vision. We wanted photos that felt timeless, authentic, and editorial with a Vogue-inspired look, and she delivered beyond our expectations.

I’m very particular about how I like to be photographed, and I shared all of my little preferences with Ames ahead of time. She was always paying attention to those details, letting me know if I should adjust something and making sure we looked our best. She also worked so well with my husband, who isn’t the biggest fan of smiling for photos, and captured him in a way that felt natural and genuinely like us.

The videography team was equally amazing. They were with us throughout the entire day, capturing every meaningful moment while still allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our wedding. At no point did it ever feel like the day revolved around photos and videos. Instead, they made everything feel so natural and effortless, allowing us to experience every moment together while preserving those memories beautifully.

One thing I was especially nervous about was taking photos and videos in the Aruba heat, but they were so thoughtful throughout the day. They made sure we weren’t standing outside any longer than necessary, kept us comfortable, and worked efficiently so we never felt overwhelmed or exhausted. They also worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure every important moment we envisioned was captured without interrupting the flow of the day.

Ames kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. Leading up to the wedding, she stayed on top of every detail, and on the wedding day she kept everyone organized and on schedule. We were actually ahead of schedule for every part of the day, which made everything feel relaxed and stress-free. Even with a timeline to follow, she always found time for those extra photos that ended up becoming some of our favorites.

We also want to thank Jordy, who was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process. From the moment we got engaged until the day we said “I do,” he truly listened to everything we wanted. He was responsive, thoughtful, and made us feel like our vision mattered every step of the way. When we received our wedding video, they were more than willing to make edits until it was exactly how we envisioned it. That level of care and commitment meant so much to us.

The entire team brought such positive energy and genuinely seemed excited to be there celebrating with us. They made us feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease in front of the camera. We are so grateful for the memories they captured, and we will treasure these photos and videos forever. I only wish I had another event in Aruba so we could work with them again. We booked our wedding videographer all the way from Washington, DC, for our destination wedding in Aruba, and it was one of the best decisions we made! From start to finish, the team was professional, creative, and made us feel completely at ease.

They went above and beyond by providing snacks, champagne, and drinks throughout the tour, making the entire experience feel so special and relaxing. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, and every location they took us to was breathtaking. Their knowledge of Aruba and its hidden gems made each stop even more meaningful, and you could truly feel their love for the island.

After our second visit together to Aruba, we decided that’s where we wanted to get 💍 married. We found Jordy at Aruba-Wedding through hotel Barcelo. The deciding factor for us was, they did 🎥 video and 📸 photography. They also had multiple pkgs. to choose from to fit our💰 budget. After meeting with Jordy and seeing an example of their work, it was a lock.
When we got the final wedding video we were amazed by how it turned out, with all the 🪄magical moments captured. Ames and the crew were AMAZING in the field. Ames was so accommodating, friendly and incredibly easy to talk to. She explained everything that was planned and made us feel completely at ease. The turnaround was reasonable, 4-6 weeks after the wedding date. We received the photos first and soon after the video. There were also sound alike options with music for the video supplied by Aruba-Wedding. We chose a commercial song because we weren’t worried about it getting taken down from social media.
Overall, we were very happy with our total experience!
