From the beginning, one of the biggest things for us was that we wanted to actually enjoy being engaged and, most importantly, enjoy our time in Aruba once all of our friends and family arrived. Because of that, we decided to hire Nicole as our wedding planner and my goodness we are so happy we did.

There are always going to be things you have to handle yourself, especially with a destination wedding. We still had to coordinate things with our families and the hotel, so having Nicole take care of everything else took so much off our plates. It made the months and especially the weeks leading up to the wedding so much less stressful.

Nicole is great with communication, which was really important to us since we were planning everything from the US. She was always willing to jump on a call when we had questions or just needed to talk something through.

She was also very honest with us about budget expectations from the beginning, which helped us understand what was realistic. We really appreciated that because we would much rather have someone be upfront with us than tell us what we want to hear and have surprises later.

One thing we realized very quickly is that Nicole knows SO many people on the island and has a lot of pull. People respect her and honestly, we got the feeling that no one wants to make Nicole mad — which is exactly who you want on your side when you're planning a wedding! She is also very particular about the people she works with and recommends. She works with vendors she genuinely knows and trusts, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind when we were planning everything from another country.

Having Nicole there on our wedding day was probably one of the most important parts for us. Our day would have been completely different without her, and definitely not in a good way. We were able to actually be in the moment with each other and enjoy the day with our friends and family because Nicole was handling everything behind the scenes. We weren't thinking about vendors, timing, setup or what was supposed to happen next. We just got to enjoy our wedding.

She even showed up to our welcome party the night before to help us pass out wristbands to everyone. This wasn't included in the package we chose and wasn't something she had to do. She came because she knew it would make things easier for us. She really does go above and beyond for her couples, and you can tell this isn't just a job to her. She genuinely takes pride in what she does and cares about making sure her couples have the best experience possible.

There are so many little things that go into a destination wedding that you don't even think about until you're actually doing it. Having someone who knows Aruba, knows the vendors, has the relationships Nicole has and can take so much of that off your plate was 100% worth it for us.

Our wedding turned out absolutely beautiful, but even more importantly, we were able to actually enjoy it. We are so thankful for everything Nicole did for us and would 100% recommend her to anyone getting married in Aruba!

Nicole was a fabulous wedding coordinator. She was so easy to work with, super organized, great communicator, and had amazing vendors that she worked with. I was nervous to plan a wedding in another country, but Nicole’s expertise and experience made the wedding planning process so easy. The chef that she recommended was fabulous, the cake she sourced was the best I ever had, the officiant was so sweet and led an great ceremony, the flowers were beautiful, fresh and colorful, the arch and chairs were exactly what I wanted, and the steel drum player was so talented. Nicole developed the timeline for the wedding day and everything flowed smoothly and stress free.

The best decision we’ve ever made while planning our Aruba wedding was hiring Nicole as our planner! Amare Weddings Aruba was one of the best decisions we made. She handled literally all of our vendor coordination, rentals, day of set up, ect, which made the planning process easy and enjoyable! She made our vision come to life from just a few inspiration pictures. More importantly, she was there for any and all questions or concerns we had along the way, and was always reassuring that everything would be fine. We were able to have zoom calls with her to check in whenever we needed and she was always quick to respond to any emails. Having someone on island that you can easily contact during planning, and is familiar with the local vendors/resorts/ect made everything much less stressful. I cannot recommend her enough!!

From start to finish, everything was perfect and stress-free for us. We had one virtual meeting with Nicole; all other communication was through email. Nicole listened to us and created a plan for our wedding day that was everything we had hoped for and more. Our wedding was an intimate affair, with just our family, on Eagle Beach. Although small, with Nicole's planning, we still had a beautiful arrangement on the beach.
Our wedding day estimate was broken down by item, and it was very detailed and specific. The service Nicole provided us was reasonably priced, and we did not have any surprises the day of the wedding.
With Nicole's extensive resources, we found our photographer, florist, and chef. All of the vendors she recommended were just as wonderful as she was!
Nicole is personable, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and loves her job.
