Wow what can’t I say about dear Samantha. I met Samantha a few years ago and my then fiancé and I became fast friends and got so close over the years. We knew even before we were engaged that she would be our wedding photographer. She captured stunning engagement photos that have gotten more compliments than I can count and it was such an honor to have her and Ed capture our wedding. I cannot wait to see our wedding gallery in a little while!! She is professional, personable, and hilarious with a beautiful eye for detail, style and design. My husband and I are already super comfortable behind the camera but she definitely goes above and beyond to make everyone on camera feel comfortable and confident. Samantha May is absolutely amazing!! She did mine and my husband's wedding photos and they turned out stunning!!! My first contact with Samantha as via email after just surfing the web looking for a wedding photographer. After checking out her profile on Instagram and Facebook, I really liked that I seen on how she shot her photos. We corresponded a few times and she was so polite and quick with her responses, I was so please that I hired her based on the email correspondence. A few months later I was going to our wedding venue for a tasting and from across the way I heard someone call my name from afar and low and behold it was Samantha and Ed. We had never meet in person before she was able to pick me out from a few pictures of me that she seen on Instagram. Right then I knew that I found an amazing photographer that paid attention to details. Fast forward to a couple of months we meet Samantha for our engagement session. We had a blast! Samantha made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The whole time we spend with her we pretty much laughed so much that she was able to pull of some amazing shots! The whole session was so much fun and such a great experience. Finally come our wedding day and well…..that are enough word to that describe just how amazing Samantha and Ed!!! From the little detailed shot to shooting our wedding party the process was so amazing and ran so smooth! Samantha creative is amazing and the shot she come up with will blow your mind! I really can’t say enough and express the gratitude we have for Samantha and Ed. We made our wedding day that much more special! Samantha and Ed have became amazing friends to us in this whole process and we are so thankful for them.

It was kind of fate the way we ran into Samantha and Ed. We were actually getting our engagement photos taken by my sister-in-law and my brother, then they notice Samantha and Ed and quickly say “Hi!” That’s actually how we met them! Fast forward a month or so later, and we’re looking for a wedding photographer that fit our budget. My brother and his wife then recommend Samantha May Photography, and sent over their info. We fell in love with their photos and their love for capturing… well, love!

From the very beginning, and our first appointment over the phone, they made us feel like family. Although they were both super professional, they still joked with us and really wanted to get to know who we were as a couple. That was huge to us. The fact that they wanted to actually get to know us, rather than just collect money from us like another job. Needless to say, that conversation felt like we were reliving our love story and sharing those moments with Samantha and Ed. From there, they were able to really understand what was important to us, and man-oh-man did their pictures and work ethic show it.

Throughout the planning process, they kept in touch and made sure our expectations as well as theirs were understood on both ends for the big day! As much as I did not want to be running late to the venue on wedding day (expected, but I realllyyyyyyyyyy tried to plan for more time!), as soon as I got there, Samantha and Ed were already working on photos with the guys, taking photos of décor, and just making sure they captured our pre-ceremony moments.
We did a first look, and even though we were surrounded by photographers and our videographer, Samantha and Ed made us feel like the moment was truly intimate and even gave us some time to each other. So. Freaking. Sweet.

The rest of the wedding was amazing. They had the patience to capture my huge family, they shared in the joy all the while making sure they got the “must-have” photos. We enjoyed their company so much that we invited them to stay back and just hangout and dance with us!

I can’t express the gratitude we have for Samantha May Photography and their passion as well as their talent. We trusted them with our wedding day and feel like we made the best decision. If we could do it all over again, they would be our first choice without a doubt. We are glad to feel as though we will still be friends with them after all the wedding fun has died down. They’re just those big-hearted, genuine, kind of people!

We couldn't have been happier with Samantha! From start to finish, the level of detail she showed to capture creative and unique shots was amazing. Climbing trees and laying down in all sorts of positions all helped to create photos we could only dream of!  Her skills and professionalism were matched only by her fun personality. She made it feel easy and was fun to be around and this meant alot to us given we didn’t have any experience with taking professional photos! Many of the guests also commented on how fantastic she was both on the day of the event and when they saw the photos.  Samantha, we can't thank you enough for capturing our special day. We are loving the prints for our home and the album just blows us and our friends away every time we look at it.
