Sam and RJ were an absolute delight to work with. I had done a lot of photographer research and Sam Stroud’s style really caught my eye, it was the easiest vendor decision for us to make. On our wedding day, my bridesmaids and I were running extremely behind on getting ready (which definitely made me anxious for our photo timeline), but Sam assured me we’d get all of the photos we wanted and surely delivered. We were even able to attend part of our cocktail hour, which we were not expecting at all, especially with losing an hour of pictures! Adding onto that, Sam and RJ made sure to capture all of our special moments throughout the day, all while allowing us to enjoy them, and that was really important and special to us. We are so excited to get all of our pictures back and relive the day. 11/10 recommend!!!

We are beyond impressed with Sam Stroud and his team, particularly RJ and Tyler. We hired them as our wedding photographers for our Sept 26 wedding and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We just got the photo album back and we are truly blown away. Sam really listened to what we wanted- traditional shots mixed with some dramatic shots (b & w film, cropped, candid) and wow did his team execute. RJ and Tyler were so much fun to work with and were giving off the best energy from the moment we stepped foot at the venue through our final farewell. You could tell that they were both eager to capture our special day perfectly, and their passion and talent really come out in the photos. They were so easy to work with and I wish we had the opportunity to do it again! The picture quality/ lighting/ angles in each and every picture are incredible, and we truly feel like we get to relive the day over and over again just looking at them. I really can’t express how amazing this team is and how in love we are with the wedding album. There are a ton of photographers out there but I’m telling you these guys are insanely talented and will exceed all of your expectations. Hands. Down. Sam and RJ are the best photographers EVER. They perfectly captured our big day and are 100% worth every penny. My husband and I cannot get over just how amazing our photos are - they truly capture the joy and love that you felt on our wedding day. We have already framed multiple photos and are getting an album to display because there are just too many great shots to look over. Sam was a dream to work with on the wedding day, keeping us on track, and knowing just which shots to capture wonderful moments. Our wedding day was overcast for much of the day and we didn't think we'd have time to get a sunset shoot in, so Sam spent extra time with us at our first look ceremony to make up for it. However, at just the right time, the clouds broke and Sam pulled us outside during the sunset - only to capture the most breathtaking images I've ever seen. His work is second to none and you will not regret hiring him. Thank you, Sam!

Sam Stroud and his team RJ and Adam were absolutely fantastic! Not only was Sam an amazing photographer he also stepped in on many occasions and helped in the moment. When I was running behind he simply came up and informed me we were running just a few minutes late and told me exactly what to do and how we would make everything work. He was there whenever we needed him and went above and beyond. His team was super flexible and easy to work with. They were there every time we turned around capturing every moment. They were extremely nice, approachable, professional, and just overall a great group of guys to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend their services.

Sam and his team managed to capture our wedding in a way that is so honest and yet so beautiful. We told him that we were particularly interested in having candid photos, and he delivered, making sure that we did not have to pose for any pictures beyond those we'd requested. Sam and his team are easy to work with, and focused on letting us enjoy our wedding rather than intruding to get the right shot. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of photographers.

Words cannot express how thankful we are for having Sam, Mitchell, and Ellie as our photographers throughout the engagement and wedding. The pictures are absolutely incredible, and that's probably an understatement! So many people have told me that the pictures are the best they've ever seen! All three were so easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and coached us throughout every picture so there were no awkward shots :) I couldn't recommend Sam and his crew enough, wish I could have them for every major life event!

No joke, when we were deciding what day to have our wedding, we planned it around Sam's availability. Photography was important to me, for after the wedding day was over, this was the only tangible thing I would have for the rest of my life. From working with him professionally and also admiring his work for years, I knew that Sam Stroud Photography was who I wanted to capture the most important day of our life. Sam did our engagement pictures and we had a blast taking them! From the pictures, you would never know it was one of the windiest days in April. On our wedding day, Sam and RJ were there to capture every moment and they did so BEAUTIFULLY. I got chills when looking back through our wedding day photos and we especially loved all of the moments they captured that we didn't get to see on the wedding day, like each other getting ready, tiny details, and more. We don't even know how to choose which images to frame because they are all amazing! I would recommend Sam and his team a million times and then some because they are professional yet fun photographers who produce amazing pictures. Thank you!!

We had Ellie do our engagement photos and wow, what a talented being :) She made us feel very comfortable with what types of poses we should do, so we didn't feel awkward at all. Also, she had great vision to utilize our surrounding and incorporating them into such good shots. Definitely excited to have her for our wedding!

From the moment I first met Sam, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. I don't really like being photographed and get impatient standing with a fake smile for hours and hours, so I was nervous about having to do that on my wedding day, but he made the entire thing seamless and fun. Sam is so incredibly cool and was so relaxed, you just feel at ease around him on what is otherwise a very chaotic day. I was super grateful to have his expertise, he made so many great suggestions and I relied on him a lot for his professional opinion. And beyond that, our pictures are incredible. I mean INCREDIBLE. I'm not just saying that because they're mine- I received texts from friends telling me that my album is some of the best wedding photography they have ever seen. I can't recommend him enough.
