St. Bernard was a great venue for our wedding and helped us with making everything go smoothly. Fr. Chris is wonderful and very easy going, which made everything that much better. He made sure we had everything we needed for our wedding, and helped with our pre-marriage counseling. The church was decorated beautifully and had a wonderful organ as well. The only downside is it is a little expensive for a church, but the money goes towards maintaining its appearances as it is a relatively old church. Overall had a good experience and would recommend.

It's kind of hard to rate a church. We used it for the ceremony only but the categories this review has to choose from puts ceremony and reception venues together. Saint Bernard's Catholic Church is over 100 years old and simply stunning in its' beauty. If I could include photos in the review, there wouldn't be a need for words. The biggest draw back however would be for someone wanting a summer wedding because the church itself is not air conditioned (could get a bit hot for those in tuxes)

While our ceremony was beautiful, we were really disappointed with the unprofessional priest at St. Bernard's. I put a 3 for value for cost since the church is so beautiful, and that's really what you're paying for (our total costs were $1350 which includes a $1000 "donation" to the church). Our wedding photos in the church are nothing short of stunning. We were very disappointed in the inappropriate comments from the priest before and even during the wedding. We were also rushed out of our rehearsal since another was coming through. Our priest was very irritated with us after we asked to do a quick second run-through (which he hurriedly did, really without providing any help at all). Bottom line: would I get married here again? Yes. Our wedding was breathtakingly beautiful. Would I recommend it? Only to the most patient of brides. If you're going to be stressed out, this church will NOT help you out.
