We play all the hits from Motown to Modern Pop!

Ruby Band is a 10 piece band with horns, and 3 lead singers. We also frequently perform as a 6-piece or 7-piece without the horn section. Our singers are among the best in the Bay Area, including a contestant from 4 TV episodes of American Idol. We focus on dance music and always succeed in packing the dance floor, keeping folks there longer than they thought they could!

For weddings we can play the Reception only, or also include the Ceremony, and Cocktail Hour.

We are well known for being great onstage entertainers, providing Master of Ceremony Services, and working closely, early, and often with you and your wedding planner to ensure a smooth fun wedding event.

Your input on song choices is invited and taken to heart and we already play many of the popular special songs played at weddings like God Only Knows (Beach Boys), You Are The Reason (Calum Scott & Leona Lewis), Bless The Broken Road (Rascal Flatts), Here Comes The Sun (The Beatles), Stand By Me (Ben E. King), and All Your'n (Tyler Childers) for Country music lovers.

Our fee includes all equipment including sound and lighting. Our sound system is available for your use for announcements and audio/visual presentations, and for playing Spotify or Apple Music playlists when the band is not playing.
