I would and have recommended Ryan and his team to many of my friends getting married. His team was very easy to work with, made us feel comfortable, and captured important parts of our day without being distracting. At one point during photos Ryan just took me and my husband around the hotel just finding breathtaking spots to take photos. We got the most organic shots thanks to his creative eye. Would hire Ryan and his team a million times over.

From the time I inquired to meeting Ryan in person with my husband - until the wedding day, we experienced nothing but great customer service! Our family, guests and other vendors commend how respectful they are to them. Very professional team! He kept us posted about the timeline of our deliverables. We still enjoy looking at our wedding photos and video because we always find something new there every single time even after a year - their storytelling style is just superb! Ryan was our first stop in the hunt for wedding vendors, and after meeting with him, he suggested that we consider meeting other photographers as well to make sure we get what we're looking for. Even at the risk of not getting business, it was clear that Ryan wanted the best experience for us, whether or not that was with him. Ryan and his crew did an amazing job at our wedding. I cannot say enough good things! He was very friendly, professional, and flexible and we liked his artistic style. We didn't want boring, static photos - we wanted lots of candids of people having a great time. They really delivered -- the album he sent us (just a few weeks later) really captured the mood of the event - joy, laughter, tears, and all. We used Ryan for our engagement photos for our October 2010 wedding. We were a little behind with the epix, we didn't take them till about March of last year. At the end, we were glad that we had waited so long because Ryan was really able to capture the great ambiance of Spring in San Jose, CA.

We were able to take advantage of a special offer Ryan was having on his engagement picture package. We spoke a few days in advance so that Ryan could get an idea of my fiance and my style... after a long discussion, we decided to do a night shoot in downtown San Jose. It was beautiful and Ryan was able to really use the lights to our advantage.

Ryan was very professional but also fun to work with. He took great photos from tons of angles and really helped to document the entire event, from set up all the way to the end of the reception. He has a great journalistic style and captures fun candid moments, but he is also very good at organizing people for large group photos.
He sent us our photos right away, and when we asked he even gave us the ones that he didn't think were up to his standards (which were all great). I have looked through the photos he took of other weddings, and they are all fantastic. I would highly recommend him to those who like his style.

Ryan was extremely helpful during the entire process of our wedding. With my wife and I being a young couple, I really appreciate him working with us on prices and meeting us at a price range that worked within our budget.

What I really appreciated was the various mediums that I could contact him with. Being a busy guy myself, and usually finding myself in 3 places at once, Ryan was one of the things I could really count on, especially in the communication area. Whether I placed an e-mail, or sent a text, his responses were prompt and to the point. I really liked that I didn't have to call him all the time to make sure we were on the same page. He seemed to really have a grasp of what we were looking for.

When the big day finally arrived, Ryan came very early, dressed, and with a great attitude. Of course, the day of, the bride and groom are extremely busy, running around, usually in different directions. Somehow, Ryan was able to find key points of downtime to gather people in our bridal party and quickly take beautiful photos. He was really able to catch nuances of our party's numerous personalities. When it came time to take the formal group pictures with both families, Ryan was extremely patient, and worked well with everyone.

Looking back and reviewing our pictures, we really now own a special part of our big day. The photos that were taken are so wonderful to have and cherish. Ryan truly gave us a piece of priceless time that my wife and I will remember always.

Ryan does lovely work and he is easy to work with and get along with. He is quick to respond back to you which is very important for a busy bride. He took amazing photos at our wedding and was everywhere we needed him to be without really asking.
