Joan and the whole staff were amazing. There were many reasons why we picked Royal Isabela, the view, the casitas and most importantly, the food! We are big foodies and the farm they have on site in addition to their dedication to sourcing local ingredients was a huge bonus to the amazing views. Every guest commented on how beautiful the venue was. The staff were also incredible. Food was amazing and on time. The bellman suggesting locations for photos. Can not recommend them enough.

I am from Michigan and got married at Borinquen Beach and had our small wedding party (8 of us total) go to La Casa Restaurant at Royal Isabela afterwards for dinner. (We also had lunch there on a different day as well, outside at the bar.) The grounds are amazingly beautiful. Excellent place for pictures. The waitstaff is incredible and attentive. The food is delicious! Both lunch and dinner were exceptional. We had a few picky eaters with us and they were all happy. Very very pleased!

The Royal Isabela was a beautiful resort and very cozy place to stay. The staff was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. My wife and I had a situation with our airline, where our bag with our wedding dresses and rings were lost in transit. When we told the staff about our situation, they all worried and several even jumped up to help, suggesting back-up options and offering to give us a ride into town to replace some of the things we would need. We kept them updated about the location of our bag and when it was due to get there, they all waited in anticipation with us. It finally arrived five minutes before our ceremony was due to start and it was delivered within minutes to our casita by the concierge. They were all so sweet and had my wife and I in tears when it was time to leave. If we could change anything, it would only be to stay longer and explore more of the property. We got married down on the beach in Swallow Cave, a location only available seasonally because the cave floods during certain times of the year. It was a truly breathtaking site, the sun sets in an ideal spot in relation to the cave and the waves were huge and amazing. After my wife and I said our 'I do's and went in to kiss, hundreds swallows flew out of the cave and into the air as if they were celebrating with us. It was the best experience we could have had and we will definitely be returning to Royal Isabela in the future for a longer stay!

The Royal Isabela is a dream. The isolated beach on the resort grounds is the perfect place for an intimate ceremony. There are lots of amazing locations on the golf course as well. The service is outstanding. My husband and I were made to feel so welcome and the helpful staff made us feel relaxed and comfortable for our big day. Worth every penny.

Phenomenal service with an amazing breath taking view and landscape. They were very accommodating, very friendly staff. Keep it up!

The Royal Isabela is a top notch resort! Our officiant, Ashley Wright worked with Angela, who is great, at choosing just the right spot for our planned elopement. We were married on Stanley's Deck--in fact we are the first to be married at this beautiful spot overlooking a cliff on the ocean. The general manager even showed up to make sure everything went smoothly. A beautiful ceremony later and after a glass of champagne, we ended up having dinner outside at the resort's restaurant. My only wish was that Angela was working the day of our wedding (we knew she wouldn't be because she had worked for weeks straight--she needed a break!), because she knows the golf course and had pointed out spots for photos after the ceremony. Unfortunately our golf cart driver that day, who was still a very nice girl, had no clue about them and we missed a couple good shots. At any rate, you can't go wrong at the Royal Isabela. The staff are professional and personably and the casitas are amazing. You will never know there are other occupied casitas around you, and you even have your own private plunge pool. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary. Highly recommended for a luxury elopement :)
