Tara was wonderful to work with! She got us right away, was really flexible with what our priorities were for the day, and delivered a great product in a very timely manner! Would definitely recommend especially for LGBT couples getting married!

Tara is so talented it's ridiculous. I used her for my boudoir, engagement and wedding photos and intend to use her for any future shoots we have as well. She is sweet, funny and an incredible listener. This is so important since she'll be with you the entirety of your special day. She also knows how to navigate family drama like a champ... a much needed skill in the wedding business! She takes the time to get to know you so that she can capture you as you truly are. Her attention to textures, colors and style is incredible and she's by far one of the most talented photographers I've ever seen. Her prices are so reasonable for the quality as well! It's really quite a steal. All in all, my boudoir photos were absolutely stunning (all her, not me!) and the engagement and wedding photos turned out to be the absolute best, most important part of our experience. I tear up every time I look at them because I feel our special day happening all over again. I can't thank her enough for the incredible gift she gave us by capturing every moment we wanted (and didn't know we wanted) and more.

My experience with Roots of Life Photography was amazing! I felt that the service was very personalized and had a vintage flair that I absolutely loved. I knew that I needed to take photos of my wedding, but had no idea what poses I wanted or what all I needed a picture of. The photographer came in armed with the knowledge of how to create photos that captured literally every aspect of my wedding. When I looked at the pictures, I remember saying "I never would have thought to take a picture of that, but I'm so glad we have one!" I really appreciated that she took a favorite image and presented several different styles of editing that my husband and I could then choose from. An awesome experience! I plan to use Roots of Life in the future for all of my special events.

Tara did an amazing job capturing our wedding day. First of all, she is just a wonderful, fun, kind person and is the kind of person I wanted with me for the whole day on my wedding. Second, she has an amazing eye. She took all of the pictures that we talked about, but the best photographs from our wedding were entirely her idea or were just little moments that he thought to capture. I adore my wedding photos and now, almost a year later, I am SO glad that I made the investment in a talented photographer. Her beautiful photos help me remember and appreciate the whole day.
