I was a little disappointed with the service I received from Rock Out Inc. First, we arrived at the reception earlier than we expected, which I was very happy about because we had a wedding later in the evening and I was worried my guests would be waiting too long. Instead of having us enter the reception right away, they had us wait for about 20 to 30 minutes for some reason - this could have also been venue's fault, so I won't put all of the blame for this on the DJ. When it came time for us to cut the cake, our DJ started playing the song while my husband was going to the bathroom, so the majority of the song played while I was standing there, without my husband, waiting to cut the cake. Instead of playing each of the first dance songs one after the other, the DJ played some songs in between so we had to keep making everyone get off the dance floor multiple times. I would have preferred to just play all of them at once so everyone could get out on the dance floor and stay there when they were finished. I guess I did not specify that clearly enough, but when we went over the timeline, that is how it was laid out. Lastly, there were some songs I requested to have played that were not played at all during the reception. The one they did play was played after I went up twice to request that they play it. I only requested about 3 or 4 songs be played in addition to the songs you have to pick out for first dances, cake cutting, etc. so it wasn't like I had a list so long it was hard to play all of them.
