Horizon Entertainment was great from the start! They responded right away and we met with Rick early on to get more information. I had heard Rick DJ at a wedding when I first became engaged and I knew that I wanted him to DJ at my wedding! He is very professional and the best DJ I have ever heard at a wedding! The music he added to the list I came up with was perfect. A friend of my mom's plans weddings and she said this was the best mix of music she has heard at a wedding. Dixon was amazing!!! He kept the party going all night. Since the wedding I keep getting told our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to and that the DJ was awesome!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Gary Dixon. After our first conversation with Gary I knew he was going to be great, energy and experience really showed. He was extremely professional, responsive and helpful. He continued to be so easy to work with and spent time with us on the phone before our wedding day, helping us with the flow of the evening and various songs for each part of the night. I interviewed Corey of Horizon entertainment back in February 2013 and hired him after meeting a few others in the Cincinnati area. From day one, Corey was professional, calm, not salesy or radio DJ-esque. I appreciated the fact that he was very genuine and I felt like I could trust him. I knew that it would be him showing up to the wedding, he was organized, and well spoken. I was looking for someone professional and not too over the top. He is exactly these things! He was always on time, always prepared, provided me with all the information proactively, and replied to email and phone calls ASAP. Even over the summer while he was working at a Bible camp he would reply to emails about song questions and timeline questions I had. Over the summer he even managed to capture a very unique song that my husband and I were just in love with, a live Norah Jones song played during a VH1 show of Storytellers. He was able to get this to play at our wedding and it was so great and we really appreciated him finding a way to make it work. When we got to the wedding he was waiting outside for us as planned, he let my bridal party know what to expect, he knew how to say all their names perfectly as rehearsed, and even carried ALL the bridesmaid's huge bags into the reception for them before their introductions so they wouldn't have to. All evening he was courteous and prompt. He communicated so well, kept the evening flowing, but at the same time I didn't even hardly notice his presence, he kept a great balance of running the show but didn't draw attention to himself. He collected the toast makers and others ahead of time and made sure they were ready for their moment. He stuck to my play list and honored the do not play list, even though guests made requests on it. His pricing is a great value, you have him for as long as you would need. His set up is unobtrusive and professional, very clean and minimal. I highly recommend Corey if you're looking for a classy prof

Corey from Horizon Entertainment was simply amazing. He centered the music around a seamless timeline of wedding events. He was professional, efficient, patient, and dedicated to meeting my needs. If I wanted a longer transition he was willing to wait. He kept my reception moving. It felt very fluid and the music worked perfectly for every dance and downtime moments. My reception was a dream come true and I have Corey to thank for all his hard work and creativity. I loved every minute of it. Dixon from Horizon Entertainment knocked it out of the fricken park. We were on the fence about having a DJ at our wedding for cost purposes. I am so glad we went with a professional DJ- and so glad it was Dixon! Prior to the wedding we completed some forms, and met with Dixon. He is super personable and professional and really instilled confidence in his ability to meet our needs. He was incredibly flexible despite our last-minute ceremony music changes. For the reception music, he really read the room creating an amazing vibe for the rest of the night. If Dixon could manage the music to my life, I would. Absolutely amazing DJ! Highly recommend!

Rick Pate was a great master of ceremonies.
Horizon Entertainment provided the DJ service, all equipment necessary for guests to view and listen to a "love story" of the bride and groom produced by the photographer, and the amplification system for the wedding ceremony minister. The amount spent was for all these services.
